Phew!!! Using An Excalation Pack to Get Victories!!!

Splinterlands is a complex game,yet it is fun to play, especially when you know and follow the rules.
I opened an excalation pack I purchased. Aftter opening and seeing the cards inside, I told myself why not play Modern ranked.Because the cards are five in numbers;Two water ,one neutral, a death and a life excalation cards as shown 👇.
One thing in common with these cards are their high mana cost, they are certainly going to be handful and formidable especially in their maximum level.For now they are all at level one.
But for the sake of this post,I want to talk only on STEELSHIELD ALBALEST,it is the only one that I have used in modern ranked battles so far.
It is a neutral card,thus,any Archon besides the dragon can summon it.This card cost 9 mana,and has five (5) equal speed, health and armor respectively and two(2) ranged attack at level one(1)
The Order of the Silver Shield's arbalests are trained to hold their positions, spot targets, and kill them. When Palifala Weslinath began warping time in the Pristine Northwest, the order deployed them to the front.
They march in formation with full plate and heavy crossbows. Around them, reality fractures. Knights and ulund charge forward, then backward, then forward again. Trees age centuries in seconds. Mercenaries flicker between moments.
The arbalests plant their feet and scan for targets.
A Conclave goon tries flanking through distorted space, thinking the temporal displacement hides him. An arbalest spots the distortion, tracks the movement, looses. The bolt punches through the goon's chest.
At level one it has no ability,but has four at level 10, which is the Max.And they are;(decoy, reveal, phase and void armor) abilities.In addition, when upgraded to level 10,the ranged attack increased from 2 at level 1to 3,while the armor from 5 to 9,tge health from 5 to 8 and speed remains 5 at level 10 as well.It is definitely going to be a great card,you can the see screenshot showing all the stats below 👇;
Without boring you with much talk and using the links below,watch how powerful the card is, at level one and combining well with my two formidable foundation cards of SALTWATER MAGE and MYSTIC SCALEWEAVER.
In the two battles the total mana cost were 50 & 60 respectively, while my Archon was MARLAI SINGARIEL in both battles.

Even though I am a newbie and still learning,my target is to gradually and patiently upgrade these cards to boost their potency.
