"Ask, Seek, Knock:My Blueprint to Conquer In Hive!"

Welcome to my blog! It is me, @zusi78, saying a big hi to you. This post is mainly for newbies like me who are still trying to find their feet on the Hive blockchain.

I joined Hive on 27/07/2025, and I can say with full conviction that these few months have been a real learning journey for me.In just about five months of being here, I decided to adopt a simple but powerful mindset captured in three words: Ask, Seek, and Knock. Holding on to this has helped me overcome fear, confusion, and discouragement to a good extent, and it has opened doors of learning, friendship, and opportunities. In this post, I want to explain in detail how these three words can help you build your own win and success story on Hive.

ASK:

The first word is Ask.Many times, as newbies, we make the mistake of trying to figure everything out by ourselves.We feel shy,intimidated, or even scared to ask questions because we think others might laugh at us or ignore us.
But on Hive,such hardly hapens,like you find on some other platforms like Facebook,Instagram and the likes.

I discovered that asking is actually a strength,not a weakness.When you ask,

•You get clarity faster instead of wasting time guessing.

•You connect with people who are willing to help and guide you (and I have them in numbers here).

•You avoid common mistakes that can cost you time, energy,and even rewards.

Personally, and being an inquisitive person,I started asking questions about how posting works,how rewards are calculated, how ecency functions, how to engage properly, and which communities I should join. Each time I asked, someone replied, corrected me,or pointed me in the right direction.If you are new, do not keep silent.Ask in the comment section, ask in Discord,ask on ecency,ask experienced Hivers.The more you ask, the faster you grow.

SEEK:

The second word is Seek. Asking brings answers, but seeking is what makes you go deeper.Seeking means putting in effort to learn,explore and discover things on your own.It was through seeking i discovered #actifit, #splinterlands,arcade colony and many more.On Hive,to seek means;

•Reading other people’s posts, especially from experienced authors.

•Exploring different communities to see which ones fit your interests.

•Checking out tutorials,guides, and newbie-friendly posts.

•Observing how successful Hivers write,format,tag, and engage.

When I started seeking,I didn’t wait for everything to be explained to me.I clicked around,I read FAQs, I followed people who share tips, and I studied the way they interact.This helped me understand that Hive is more than just post and earn.It is a social blockchain where you have to invest time learning, connecting and adding values with lots of patience.

If you are willing to seek, you will keep finding new opportunities, contests,communities and friends.

KNOCK:

The third word is Knock.You can ask and you can seek, but if you don’t knock,many doors will remain closed.Knocking simply means taking action.On Hive, to knock means:

•Hitting that Post button even when you are not sure your content is perfect.

•Joining contests, challenges, and community activities.

•Leaving meaningful comments instead of just reading and scrolling away.

•Reaching out to people with a simple hello or I love your content.

When I started knocking, I stopped waiting for the perfect time or perfect post.I just began to show up consistently.Sometimes the rewards were small, sometimes there were no rewards at all, but the more I knocked, the more I was noticed, encouraged, and supported.Knocking is like saying,I am here, I am willing and I am serious about growing on Hive.

Putting it all together;

Ask, Seek, and Knock is not just a caption for me; it has become a small rule I follow every day on Hive:

•I ask when I don’t understand.

•I seek when I want to grow.

•I knock when I am ready to act.

If you are a newbie reading this, I want you to know that it is normal to feel lost at the beginning. But if you will ask questions, seek knowledge, and knock on doors through consistent action and engagement, your own Hive journey can also turn into a success story. You don’t have to be perfect.You just have to be willing to learn,show up and keep moving.

In my next posts, I may share some practical examples of how I applied this mindset in specific situations on Hive,the mistakes I made as a newbie, and how the community helped me overcome them. For now, I just want to encourage you, do not be silent, do not be invisible, and do not give up. Ask. Seek. Knock. Your door will open.
