🌹Romance, please, with these songs in the background

7/5/25
Yes, I admit it, I'm a hopeless romantic.
I don't usually listen to music regularly; my neighbors do it for me every day at full volume. But these past few weeks, I've been wanting to listen to some songs that I've found beautiful.
I guess going from home to work, from work to college, and from college to home makes me want to dream a little.
And music does that. It introduces you to that incredibly romantic world where you dream of that knight in armor who's going to serenade you.
Especially when those songs are aimed at women. I think about how lucky they are to receive verses. At some point, I was able to experience them too, and it's really nice.
It definitely makes you feel on cloud nine.
So today, I want to tell you why you should listen to these four songs that are incredibly catchy and romantic.
Ordinary - Alex Warren
The original language of this song is English. |
---|
Year: 2024.
I've been looking for a Spanish cover just for the fun of it, but I haven't found one.
However, sung by Alex Warren, it's simply magnificent.
His voice is pleasing to the ear, the rhythms match it, and it alone takes you to that place where you'll most likely get asked to marry you.
According to what I read about its origins, it's dedicated to the couple who has been with him even through the most difficult times of his life.
And I don't think you even need to know that, because just listening to it, you realize it, the love it conveys, the unconditionalness, and the commitment.
Without a doubt, my favorite lines from this song are these:
Whenever you're next to me, oh my, my
World was in black and white until I saw your light
I thought you had to die to find
...
Breathe and take my breath away?
...
You're the scultor, I'm the clay
Que suerte tenerte (How lucky to have you) - Fonseca
The original language of this song is Spanish. |
---|
Year: 2024.
I was looking for romantic Christian songs. I don't know if this Fonseca song is Christian or not, but what I'm sure of is that it's quite romantic.
It's an ideal song to dedicate.
I feel like the woman to whom it's sung won't stop smiling, because in it the artist bares his soul, swearing eternal love.
Die with a smile - Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga
The original language of this song is English. |
---|
Year: 2024.
If we're talking about dramatic, nerve-wracking songs that can be a bit toxic but incredibly romantic, then we have to mention "Die with a Smile."
I've always believed that Bruno Mars finds a way to make us fall completely in love with each song, and not only that, he also makes us dream, long for a love like the one his lyrics describe, and hum his songs over and over again.
He's been my favorite singer since I was a teenager, and he still is.
The reason: His magnificent work as a singer.
The first time I heard it I thought I could finally hear something new from Bruno, and at that very moment, with just one listen I already had my favorite verses.
Nobody's promise tomorrow
So I'ma love you every night like it's the last night
...
Wherever you go, that's where I'll follow
...
If the world was ending, I'd wanna be next to you
Tu jardín con enanitos (Your Garden with Dwarfs) - Melendi
The original language of this song is Spanish. |
---|
Year: 2012.
This is one of the songs I learned about because someone dedicated it to me a cappella.
From that moment on, I always listen to it because I find it very beautiful.
Although we can say that Melendi expresses very intense feelings in it, it's one of those lyrics that always stays in your mind.
Have you heard any of these songs?
Or, which one would you add to this super romantic and saccharine list?
