I love watercolors. All the objects and colors in the picture are wonderful. The blue patterned ware, small jug is so cute.
The pears look nice and juicy. I like the plates you chose.
You pose a dilemma: are pears tastier when cut with a knife or bitten into?
I follow your posts, and my absolute favorite is 'Pears and Grapes'. I also enjoy 'Pears on a Tray', 'Study of Fruit', and 'Study of Pears and Domino Ware'..

To answer your delightful query....Bleujay being Bleujay would find most anything is tastier served elegantly....therefore, yes...when cut with a knife....however if I should find myself picking pears in an orchard in France on a lovely warm day...who could say that such a pear eaten without a knife in such a place would not be the tastiest pear...they had ever had. Enjoyed thinking on your kind query.
