I am a faithful follower of technological trends, and all the topic related to Artificial Intelligence, and that is why when I see a news about this topic I am excited to read the idea to continue learning and be updated, because I have always said that it is no secret that artificial intelligence is a great help for many people today.
Only that some do not give it a good use, but that is already a matter of professionalism and Ethics, because they do not see AI as a support tool, but that is another topic that I may address in a future article.

What's new in GPT-4 Turbo?
I must admit that I am excited and optimistic about the recent updates to GPT-4 Turbo. This model, which is the most advanced OpenAI model, has been quietly updated to handle data as recent as December 2023, and it is important to note that prior to this new update, GPT had a data collection that limited only to the year 2021.
This update was not publicly announced, which leads me to appreciate OpenAI discretion and focus on continuous improvement, even behind everything without many being aware of it.
And something I find particularly interesting is the intent behind this upgrade. According to the documentation on the OpenAI website, the update was implemented to reduce what developers call (laziness) in a model, that is, when it does not complete the tasks it is asked to do, to give you an easier example, it is like when you use a request to the GPT and the result it gives you is not as accurate to what you are looking for, or it is a very simple result.
And as someone who relies on AI for various tasks, I personally value this improvement, and I mean this in many ways, as it will now give us more accurate results, with higher quality and improved efficiency, and this can save no more time than this tool already saves us, so we can say that GPT-4 Turbo is now more up to date with current events and trends, which can result in more relevant and accurate answers.

However, I have noticed that some users have questioned the legitimacy of this update, as their preview does not appear to be current until December 2023. Despite this, other users have reported positive results, indicating that the upgrade has been successful.
But there is also the (Failure to Improve) factor, as this is not perfect and likewise has many things to improve, because just as we humans make mistakes, the AI also makes mistakes and you have to always keep that in mind, as Artificial Intelligence is not perfect.

Do you know what Sora is?
As a curious fact, this update comes just days after OpenAI introduced its advanced text-to-video model, Sora, which many are talking about lately, I even saw an article in which @vikvitnik explains about it and you can read it here (Worldcoin ($WLD) has increased by more than 40% after launch of OpenAI's Sora! | AI Coins).
This model can generate movie-like scenes with various characters, specific movements and themes, and background details in up to 1080p resolution. Although Sora is not yet ready for public release, I am eager to see how this technology can change the way we interact with AI, I may actually create a movie with this Sora system hahahaha.
I believe these upgrades will not only improve the efficiency and accuracy of AI models, but also open up new possibilities for their application. I am eager to see how these updates will change the way we interact with AI and how we will benefit from these improvements, and as I always say, give an ethical, practical and sincere use to this tool.
