Since childhood, I've often heard the excuse, "it's for your own good." To be honest, I have never liked this feeling. I don't like it when someone else says this to me. I know my own good; I don't need someone else to tell me that. I get that as a kid, I would not understand what is good or bad for me, but I don't like it when they don't even try to understand me. I feel like I am unable to do something on my own. Even now, when someone says this to me, it doesn't make me feel any better. Because I'm living my own life and my experiences are personal, how will someone else decide what is good for me? I'm an adult now, so I know what is good for me and what is bad; I don't need someone to tell me that all the time. Even if I make mistakes, I will learn from them, but if I don't get the chance to explore, then how will I find out?

I am the leader of my life, so I get to choose what to do and what not to do. I feel everyone should have their freedom, and others should not meddle in someone else's work. One can suggest, but not tell me what I should do. I have many dreams of my own, and at first, they were not my dreams; they were my parents' dreams. When I became an adult, I discovered my own dreams. I want to start my own business, and I know there will be ups and downs, but still, I want to do it. I want to earn on my own and do something for my family. I want to buy a big house for my parents; even if I am far away from them, I will always want them to stay happy. All I want is to see them smiling forever. I just want to take responsibility for my family, but I'm not old enough to do that yet. Still, I have high hopes that I can accomplish my dreams soon.

I want to start my own clothing brand. I have plans and everything organized, but it's not the right time for me, as I am busy with my studies. I want to finish studying, and then I will focus on my business. Actually, wanting those things doesn't mean that I'm not happy with what I have now. I feel blessed with what we already have, but I still want to make things better for us, and I know it's for the best. I will surely make my parents proud of me one day. They already appreciate me a lot, but I still can't wait to take on responsibilities. If I ever feel demotivated, I always look at my father, as he has been a struggler from the beginning. Today, we are in a good position just because of him. My father started from zero, and it took many years, but he managed to give us the good life we always wanted. I feel now it's my time to make things better for them.
