My recent find - Lāčplēsis

I know that most of the time, this blog is about normal beer that does contain alcohol. Unfortunately, after over a month of medical treatment, I’m currently not allowed to drink any.
Since I’m not much of a juice person, and I only drink coffee once in the morning, non-alcoholic beer has become my alternative. The only problem? Most non-alcoholic beers taste like soap to me. Much worse than any juice. I even started to think that delicious non-alcoholic beer was almost an oxymoron, LOL.
My husband and I have been on a long quest to find a non-alcoholic beer that’s actually enjoyable. And I think I’ve finally found it. It’s a product from the Latvian brand Lāčplēsis.
It is brewed using a special technology that preserves the authentic taste of the beer by using a balanced blend of barley malt and Magnum bitter hops. The beer has a clear golden colour and a distinctive aroma of malt and hops.
Main characteristics:
Alcohol: 0%
Volume: 0,5 л
Caloric content: 8 kcal per 100 g
Carbohydrates: 2 g per 100 g
It has a good foam and aroma, and tastes like a good light beer
The brand has a reputation as a quality beer producer in Latvia. In fact, the delicious non-alcoholic beer is the pinnacle of the brewer's skill.

STOPI drink only very few beer, but I like "Radler" - a mixture of beer and Lemonade. It is really refreshing. There is usually an reduced Alcohol percentage, but I also like the 0% Alcohol Radler very much.
I will look for it. But from my experience, I rarely like a fruit beer. I like it when a beer tastes like beer 😁😊

Keen eye! I brought it as a souvenir from the most western region of Ukraine, and the picture on the mug is its map actually.
There seems to be a lot more choice in non-alcoholic beers these days. I can remember when there were just one or two and I did not think much of those. Some that I have tried recently are much better. Peroni do one that went well with pizza.

Not sure uf I can find it here. But I agree that the choice of alcohol free beer is bigger nowadays. Although... it has a serious competitor, at least in Ukraine. It's kombucha and the like

Lāčplēsis фірма латвійська, але може випускатись і в Литві, як наприклад, чеське Krušovice і ще декілька розливають в Україні, тобто по чеській рецептурі. Тому дивимось, що на банці написано. Нажаль, наші навіть не купляємо
На просторах інету, знайшов порівняння з аналогами до Lāčplēsis Bezalkoholiskais:
Ще попитаю своїх знайомих щодо безалкогольного пива з хмелем, може щось порадять ;-)
Але моє око заціпилось не за пиво, а за кухоль з картою Закарпаття ;-) Десь я вже бачив таку мапу ;-) та ще у всіх цих місцях бував.
Хайнекен точно мінус, солодкувате не люблю, а солодкувате безалкогольне буде взагалі бека. Третє в списку не попадалось, але загуглю.
Кухоль привезений із екскурсії по Закарпаттю ) Але де ми його купили я вже не пам"ятаю. Перший рік ми також ту карту досліджували на предмет були/не були )) Рада, що вам сподобалась ))
