How my mind set was reshape outside my comfort zone
Hivenaijaweekly prompt has come again with an amazing topic to write.
Despite my tight schedule i have to create time so that i would write up all that i have been in my mind to write .
Lets me reflect my days during my high school ..
I actually attended a day school through out study as secondaries in my country and the region i come from. My parents insisted that i must stay with them at home during this period. They believe as a teenager and as a young man i am, i should be under their watch and care for those years. It me 6 years before i could graduated from highschool where i was admitted into the higher institution to study statistics as a course.
So i have to become acquainted to them to the extend that living out side them was very difficult for me.
Looking at the topic for the week,
Well the first one i could love to reflect on when i was out of my comfort zone was when i graduated from the high school and i got admission into the higher institution to study Statistics as a course where i could have to leave my parent and my comfort zone to a different location entirely.
Changing into a new environment was entirely difficult for me to adapt. It took me weeks and probably months before i could adapt to this new environment.
So the first one i learnt was to get used to this new environment and people around that environment.
Secondly my new environment shape me on relating with people around me and mingle with them easily, normally i don't know how to associate with people around due to how i was raise up my parent. I am always indoors and i become an introvert.
Thirdly the new environment also help me to learn how to be patient with one another (people i meet around ).
I have to learn the characters of people and the way they do things.
Lastly I also try to know the security system of the place, so i could protect my self .
Is the place safe for me and how can i protect myself when i encounter any danger around my new environment.
One thing i believe is that security of you and your property's begins from you.
Above all i have to learn patient with people around me.
The secondly, the one i could love to reflect on was during my youth service year as a coppers member (National youth service corps)
In my country, once you graduate from the higher institutions in respective of whatever you study you need to go for a year program and it must be out side your state of origin completely.
So after i graduated the higher institution, i was posted to one of the northern pat. ummm another new environment to adapt with.
This particular one was very difficult to adapt seriously.
This new environment, there water is hard to the extend that it's doesn't forms seriously.
The north was very difficult stay and adapt but i learnt management system in the north, i learnt how to used the little and never waste any resources.
