From the look of things, he was married probably with kids too.
His facial appearance, physique and even his line of experience gave it all, besides he was elderly too.
I almost doubted my instincts at first when he acted all nice and fatherly until at the end of the day when the story changed to the actual backplay I had all along.

Precisely a week ago or maybe two, I was invited to an occasion by one of my colleagues, being that the location was quite far, out of the city, a bus was situated at the church to take us to the village for that occasion.
I was praying and hoping that I was right on time and that the bus didn't depart already, thankfully I was on time for the departure.
On my arrival, I met a tall, dark and elderly man just by the gate, who happened to be the driver of the vehicle that was gonna convey us to our destination.
He was all nice and welcoming, asking me to go inside and grab a seat from the church and wait for when it was time for departure. I obeyed and made myself at home especially when I went inside the church to meet a few other members also waiting for the bus.
When it was time, we all departed to the village, it was a long journey and a fun one too cause almost everyone inside the bus was friendly and welcoming.

At the close of the occasion, the same bus conveyed us back to the city. But before then, we were served and then we exchanged a few pleasantries before leaving the village.
On getting to town, a few passengers alighted by the road while a few were left until they got to the church.
Stopping by the church, the remaining members alighted leaving just me, I didn't stay around the church so I couldn't alight there and the driver made it known to me that he was going back to town and would drop me off. When we eventually left the church and everyone was out of the bus, the driver started asking me some personal questions before he dropped the bomb I'd been waiting for and doubting my instincts all along.

And shamelessly he told me he was married with two kids yet in search of a girlfriend or whatsoever that meant to him.
Within me I was already casting and binding such a man for a husband, cause don't some men have shame anymore? At his age? He wasn't even ashamed to mention he was married but proudly went about doing what he said he did.
When I bluntly refused him and said I couldn't believe he could do such, he asked if I hated him that much. I was like, "Does this man even hear himself?" A married man for that matter.
What is the world turning into? What is becoming of our men? I told him I didn't hate him and wouldn't even have anything to do with him, that he should drop me off where he said he would, so I could go back to my house as I was very tired already.
He said okay that he wouldn't force me and that he had no problem whatsoever.
Till today that experience still scarce me, not literally afraid of the man but how wicked the world is, and what elderly and married men are going about doing on the street with their wives and kids at home.

How would a married man with kids at home shamelessly want a girlfriend to spend time with and enjoy life with? What happens to your wife at home? The one you married and vowed at the altar to be with and grow old together?
And it makes me ask who is to be blamed for such disheartening behaviours cause at some point I was pitying the poor wife and kids at home, having no idea what their father/husband does out there on the street.
But in all, more than anything, I pray against such a man for a husband.
In this time and age, it is very pertinent to guard against the choices we make, especially marital choices.
I pray the Lord helps and guide us to the right people in life, Amen.
