I am torn between the slow grind of decentralized leadership & community building and a centralized group making up leadership. These days, it isn't hard to imagine core values and a constitution being turned aside when the wrong people are included in a centralized leadership group for the wrong reasons. Still, people will do what you inspect and not what you expect so a compensated body with roles and objectives to deliver upon would be a hook on which to hang larger progress and development.

If value of token is the primary driver, then some centralized and accountable leadership mechanism is needed. I think it might overshadow some of the other core values that are the foundation of Hive in the name of profit.

So, Helpers should seek out the helpers here and lead. We are the leaders and the older ones of us know the stink of Justin Sun for example.

We still can have decentralized leadership - the team of top witnesses should ideally represent the leadership. This is more for promoting what we are building.

Exactly my point. We have decentralized leadership and I love to support them and follow their lead. That is the organic, decentralized model I love. I also know you get what you pay for so an acceleration of those efforts would have to come with some reward and responsibility.

If witnesses (and the rest of us) promoting what we are building is not enough, then some centralization of reward and accountability to achieving objectives would work. Kinda like in the corporate world. Money talks! ;)

I am looking for opportunities to move from story teller and curator into more of a roll that leverages the digital marketing knowledge and skills that I have used to build a company. I gotta chase the money to pay the bills but Hive is a side hustle or a side project more than a paid team role at the moment.

I guess we lead and follow in different ways and I look forward to that evolving as Hive does.
