Such rich colour and family tradition once again. I just love seeing the people gathering to celebrate and the rituals and their meanings.
Goodbye to winter? That sure sounds great about now where we are settling into a deep freeze and plenty of snow!

lol my wife is from Colorado so she is well used to real cold weather and just loves to take the piss out of us for complaining about a wee bit of cold!
That's harsh like our summer, we love winter, but unfortunately it stays for a very small period. Earlier ( two decades back), it used to stay for at least three months, but then blame pollution or global climate impact, the environment is becoming more harsh.
Sad but true. Kills me that these climate change deniers say stuff like 'See how cold it is?! Where is your global warming now?!' 99.9% of the smartest people on earth are showing you how the climate change is causing big shifts in the air and water flow around the planet which makes for more extreme weather on both ends of the spectrum. Truths too inconvenient for the idiocracy.
Anyhow, we persist and find happiness and togetherness.
