Ah a nice rainy break toward the end of the hot season. Maybe not perfectly timed for your outing but since when does the weather cooperate?
Idiots with potfolios whose value depends upon denying what 99% of scientists agree is climate change can pretend it is a hoax. Not sure if it is an increase in the strange weather or just how fast the stories spread with how well connected we are. Still, the measured slowing/changes in the flow of air and water in the oceans should make for some wild new weather for us on opposite sides of the planet!
We should be headed into soggy season so perhaps you are due for a dry fall down there?

Raining right now again, and it is such a relief. This time we are at home, and thankfully not on the road.
The nay-sayers always have motives when they deny the truth, as it must affect them in some way. Things are just like that.
Yeah, that is also true about the spreading of the stories, as everyone wants people to believe them, and great connections are certainly a boon for their efforts. Wild weather is already in effect across the planet, and even the very old volcanos are starting up again. Rain records are set in many countries, and we all know that the ice is melting in the arctic.
The rain tonight seems like an unexpected turnaround, and I only hope that the rain will fall in the mountain catchment areas, as that will result in the dam levels picking up.
