Finance plays a large role in real life and also on the blockchain blog with @inleo premium! Here is my view through the financial lens from up north.

This edition, I am powering up again, loving the boost in activity on Hive, and building the brick and mortar business at the same time.

HPUD!

I got out of the habit of powering up on the first of the month when my stake became too big to win the prizes but I still do. This month, I dumped just over 200 HP into my stake which isn't much, but is over $85 USD locked back into the chain. The fact that is mostly just author and curation rewards makes it pretty sweet. Besides that, I believe $HIVE is undervalued and that will be worth much more in the long run.



On top of that, I managed to stack another 41 HBD in Savings which has added up after being at it for a while. I think my favourite part has been the instant interest calculation and addition. I also remembered to claim some of the DEX tokens, which #pimp #leo #waiv and #Zing have been my best ones lately.

Holozing

Speaking of @holozing, it has been 12 days since the last post but I have been seeing plenty of action on the Discord server https://discord.gg/YBzP5N3MnH. I also saw a recent post from @acidyo https://inleo.io/@acidyo/hive-can-take-it covering how lessons learned in past Hive games have been incorporated into the soon-to-be-released @holozing.

It is a little hurry up and wait to be in on day 1 but looking forward to seeing this launch for everyone.

We are a little Hive heavy this month but I couldn't forget to mention how cool it is to have a post make trending! Remember when we started and the trending page would display all of the cool kids and big builders and their high-rewards posts? It is still special to have the community and some of the big curators pick little old me out among thousands of others to reward. Sincere thanks to everyone who has followed me over the years. Digital Marketing

Business has been popping with @town-crier / wwwltowncriermarketing.ca as we crawl out of the slow winter towards the craziness that is summer in this tourist town. Some businesses hibernate in the winter and hope their location spills enough cash off the sidewalk to sustain the business. The ones we like to work with are those who want to control their cashflow, invest measurably in promotion, drive demand year round and leverage a quiet winter to a goo online presence so they stand out to visitors looking for what they have.

Plenty of the letter stepping up early to work with us on all things internet and what that means to their business. Here are a few.

Here are a few highlights from what we have been working on this month.

Multicultural Assocation

We work year round with the Multicultural Association of Perth Huron (https://www.maph.ca) to support their efforts of welcoming newcomers and promoting diversity and acceptance in our community. Fund raising, publicity, volunteering, and so much more

They obviously had a busy Black History Month and are now onto their International Women's Day festivities. Digital and radio advertising will raise the awareness of the event in the community, connect people for a wonderful cause and raise money to help the MAPH do all they do.

Winter Film Festival

A fun project to work on recently was the first annual winter film festival. Helping promote the event, solidify their web presence, sell tickets and build intelligence for years to come certainly has everyone hopping. One of the benefits was seeing our name on the big screen as a sponsor in a fantastic venue like https://revival.house .

Besides helping with an exciting event in the middle of a typically slow winter weekend, it was nice to see movies I would have never seen in venues converted from all sorts of functions to become temporary movie theatres.

The Salt Cabin

We picked up another new client with a new spa opening in town soon. The Salt Cabin is a really neat spa and therapy salon which specializes obviously in salt therapy. Learning plenty of new thing on the benefits of this practice for the respiratory system and wellness in general.

Music!

Word is getting around that we are pretty damn good at publicizing events and selling tickets online as a result! This is one of many events that are happening in this increasingly busy slow season as local promoters are livening up the winter. So many to talk about as we head into a summer that will be crucial for local businesses and sustainable economic development.

The most recent client we have brought on in the music theme is https://www.onrushfestival.ca These local music champions are stepping their efforts up and gathering original musical talent from the region in a new music showcase. Not only that, they are booking a few well-known headliners to cap off the nights of local music. This give local bands money, exposure, and experience with bigtime musicians while rewarding the community with more live music.
