For the longest time, I’ve been meaning to create a cleaning schedule for my shop. But, as it often happens, work piled up, and deep cleaning took a backseat. And, taaaddaaaaaa! yesterday ,I finally took out time to do it and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The entire space is now neat, organized, and refreshed.

Every morning, I make it a habit to sweep the floors and mop them using water, detergent, and salt. The addition of salt has always worked wonders as it not only cleans but also disinfects. Next, I focused on my sewing machines and cutting table. I wiped down every surface, dusted thoroughly, and lubricated the machines to keep them running smoothly. Even the scissors that weren’t in frequent use found a better place to hang, reducing clutter and making the shop feel even more organized.

Beyond just cleaning, I also decluttered yeah! getting rid of damaged pieces and unnecessary items to create more space and improve ventilation. Which resulted to a shop that feels open, fresh, and ready for business!

After all that effort, I can’t help but feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment. A clean and organized workspace isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s essential for productivity and efficiency. When everything has its place and the environment is tidy, focusing on work becomes much easier.

As I close up for the day, I feel grateful for the opportunity to care for my business and create a space that I can truly be proud of. Now, I’m ready to take on new challenges, serve my customers with a smile, and keep my shop in top shape!

A continuación, me centré en las máquinas de coser y la mesa de corte. Limpié todas las superficies, quité el polvo y engrasé las máquinas para que funcionaran sin problemas. Cuando todo está en su sitio y el entorno está ordenado, concentrarse en el trabajo es mucho más fácil.
Al cerrar por hoy, me siento agradecida por la oportunidad de cuidar de mi negocio y crear un espacio del que puedo sentirme realmente orgullosa. Ahora estoy lista para afrontar nuevos retos, atender a mis clientes con una sonrisa y mantener mi tienda en plena forma.
