Cleanliness is a choice

So what happens when that fundamental training is missing When the simple acts of regular bathing brushing teeth washing clothes, or clearing dishes just aren't prioritized, It becomes normalized as the clutter piles up the smells set in and what might start as "a bit messy" slides into genuine unhygienic territory It’s a slow creep, often unnoticed by the person living it.

This spills over big time if you are Ever been stuck near someone on public transport whose lack of personal hygiene makes the journey unbearable Or walked into a shared office spsce that looks (and smells) like a science experiment gone wrong It’s uncomfortable disrespectful, and honestly it drags everyone down It creates an environment where low standards become acceptable where "it’s not that bad" becomes the norm and that normalization It’s toxic.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth I’ve been wrestling with: Cleanliness is a choice. It’s a discipline Sure having more money can make certain aspects easier buying cleaning supplies, having reliable hot water but the core action the doing of it costs almost nothing but just Soap and water which are cheap Tidying up requires effort not cash Choosing to wash your clothes regularly is a habit not a financial strategy.
