This is a really deep and thought-provoking take. You’ve highlighted an important point that both democracy and dictatorship can be misused depending on who holds the power. It’s true that sometimes effective governance matters more than the political label. Great read!

I would argue dictatorships are the old way and democracy is the new way. However, they are both used to control the people.
