Will I enjoy serving my country?

Source

You know this kind of question usually Rome about in my head, do I really need to serve my county? If yes, the question remains why?

I know this is my country and I think I am supposed to be proud of it, but at the same time, I ask my self, is there any changes? I'm I just serving because I need to serve or is it because it's fun, or because it's a lot of suffering or because it's just that I need to do it?

I am not yet a graduate so I can not determine what serving my country will mean, I have no much idea what it means to do the NYSC *(national youth service Corps) but the I have seen or heard a lot of people saying a lot of things about it, some are very happy that they are entering while when they come out after 3 weeks, they feel like that's another part of then that they probably didn't know existed..

The rest are not even in support of it, I know a number of persons that after their good or maybe terrible 3 weeks camping in their different states, they are just there to tell us about the bad experiences they had during that their 3 weeks of camping.

While there are some who are happy to go out if their state to somewhere they've never been to before because of the whole new experience, experiences like new kind of food, now kind of places, new environment, new culture, new believes and maybe new religions, and to me, these is really going to be the best part of serving, because I will really love to explore some other places that we have in this our able country.

Some want to use their powers and influences to remain in a particular state because they are scared of going far from home, I mean...
A copper is working with us, in fact, 2 coppers are working with us, a male and a female, now this male was posted to Abeokuta or he made redeployment whereafter the place he was posted was just directly opposite his house, or let me say his father's house, he was like, oh no, I am a man and I need to stay in my own, and in my mind I was like, didn't you know this before you made the redeployment whatever???

He was able to get another place from Abeokuta to sango Ota, as much as he was happy about that decision, his eyes is seeing one or two things letting him know how man he can be.

I have just heard a whole lot of experiences when it comes to serving my country, and I keep asking myself, must I? At the same time I want to but if I am going to, I'll love to go far, I man very far from home, I want to see new people, try out new foods, check out new outfit, get lost in deep languages, be laughed at but be corrected as well, and so many more things, new places, fun places and fun facts about the state.

These are things that will want to make me not miss serving my country.

Well, when the time Comes, I'll know about it.

With new experiences although we learn new things but yes this experience can be terrible. I don't know completely about mandatory services in your country but here I got a little idea. It is really tough, tiring and bad for me to work in the military.
