Hmm......
Hardest of 2024... This year 2024 has actually been A very Demure year for me fortunately, The past 10 months has been good but definitely there would be ups and downs for sure.

One of the hardest things I experienced this year is challenges I faced while I was in search of work so as to just to leave the house and then have income you know...

It's not wise or better still advisable for a grown up to just be indoor doing nothing profitable that can bring income so I decided to step out with a friend in search of work I finally found one through a friend anyways... Me with no physical work experience went empty handed to the place but then luckily for me they told me to bring necessary documents that is been required of the restaurant. Yes it happened to be a restaurant "KILIMANJARO". I brought everything required of me from them, I and a friend .

I got texted my the manager, fortunately for me I was scheduled for am interview and my friend wasn't, I missed my interview because I saw the message late. I actually say the message a day after the interview was supposed to hold I felt like crying because this was I long awaited opportunity.

I summoned courage and called the manager of the restaurant and apologized for missing the scheduled interview. God helped me I was rescheduled the next day.

I slept that night with my eyes opened (lol) waiting for the next morning so that what happened before won't happen again. Well I didn't miss the interview this time, the interview went well the manager seem nice that day. Well days after I was employed as a "CASUAL" not a staff not this hardness started on my process to become a full staff of the restaurant 😪 to have a good earn.

The normal process is to have your full documents complete which includes *Birth certificate, A copy of your NIN, your BVN, your passport like 4 pieces, passport of your guardian, WAEC result, A guarantor and lastly to run a blood test.

I submitted all this document but I didn't have a guarantor to fill the guarantors form, and this was because another rule was that your family members are not allowed to be your guarantor. The kind of people that they demanded for were government workers, CEOs of big companies and recommend factories staffs of big companies and more...

I went round the world looking for a guarantor, people were scared of been a guarantor, some other people don't worth been a guarantor 🤌 some were retired government workers. And I kept looking for guarantor up to their standard.

I finally told a big business man and I requested that he becomes my guarantor that I needed one badly he agreed without complaining and then he filled the form and I submitted.
I submitted and My files were transferred to the CEO of the restaurant herself. When she went through it she wasn't satisfied. Likee I didn't know what else she was looking for...

All this while a saw working as a casual, not earning well, and it's a very stressful job, working Sunday to Sunday, not time conscious at all. I was already getting tired of it even it's seems have not started working yet.

The CEO kept complaining about my files first she said I wasn't up to age, secondly she said my guarantor wasn't up to her standard, next she complained that my WAEC result wasn't carrying WAEC logo. At this point I was getting frustrated because while all this was going I was still working as a casual earned shit!🤌.

The manager kept encouraging me and kept talking the CEO and finally she convinced her about accepting my files with so mush talk the CEO agreed and accepted my files. Then I was to go through the last process with was to run a blood test.

The CEO herself sent me a texted me and scheduled me for my test at Ogun State from Lagos State.
I went with no choice because I've gone to far to turn back.
I got there first and the doctor told me to come back the next day with some certain this to run the test.

Well I did it and then till today 10th of October I've not seen or heard my result since February this year💔
After running all this process to become a staff the restaurant "KILIMANJARO" PLAMS OTA 1 was short down to open another branch at Abeokuta.

And only staffs where transfered to other branches of KILIMANJARO. And I wasn't part of then. At the end again I landed at home.😭💔
I didn't get myself for a while, my mental health wassss... I don't even know the word to use .
That experience was the worse thus year.

I obviously didn't get what I was chasing and.
And my mental health was down because I gave it my all with no plan B
But today I'm into fashion designing and I'm doing so great and I'm happy with it!
