To be very blunt and honest, I'm looking at the post thinking of what to write, I have a whole lot of things in my head that I can write, but they are probably so much that can't or don't want to wait for themselves to come out one after another.

The cost of living is now a topic in my country, in fact it's not just a topic for the adults as it should be yeah, it's even talked about by young people, very young people who are supposed to still be very much dependent on their parents or guardians.

On the other hand, guess what they are doing? they are there fighting for their lives, fighting to be a better version of themselves and mainly have money to take care of themselves and their needs.

My main worry is a question, does this unnecessary struggle ever ends? When does one really get to reap the fruit of their labor? When do one work and at the end of the month still has enough money before he gets paid for the next month? or has the bills taken everything?

When does the cost of living stop causing the living to live in fear if what tomorrow will offer?
When will anything become any better?

There are days where I use about 5 thousand naira for transport, but i don't work on a daily basis abd slebd such, thanks to God, but I made a calculation for those spending up to that amount of money on transportation in a day for a month and it costs about 110,000 naira monthly.

Now this means that if I'm earning a minimum of 100, then there's nothing for me, Also if I earn 150, there's still noting for me cause I've got bills to pay.

I stay in Lagos, and for now I stay in a underdeveloped or let me calm it a developing area, even the good salary earners and business owners are not satisfied cause there nothing to show for it
It's crazy that the amount of money I'll spend at the end of the month will be more than my expenses, it's like so why I'm I even working?

At this point, saving is not part of the plan any longer because even your savings has been used ti save you a lot of Broke times.

I've been too few states, nothing is cheaper in any of them, they all have their own crazy expenses; some are in food, some in clothes, some are mainly in transportation, and even some of these states have all of these highly expensive things that are not even negotiable.

I mean is there going to be a better tomorrow?

There's this course mate of mine that works in a pharmaceutical store, she used to earn a certain amount of money and she thought she was okay, even tho she knew there was no real money in the penny she was being paid.

Until the day I asked her about what she does and how she does survive.
She was telling me how before the end of the month, there is usually no. Ore money for her to even take transport to work.

Then I broke her expenses in smaller math and so she was able to see that she was on a steady loss even after her income, because the amount she spends on a good day is more than what she's earning, so like what's the whole point of working when there really is nothing to show for it?

I am a photographer, my photography equipments for a starter is running in to millions.
I don't know how it is in other countries but here, everything is unfair.

The electricity bills is more than the supply, in 24 hours we can have light for less than 5 hours sometimes, like what's the whole point.

There's just but only my complains in my mind,

Is there a solution? Let's look back at things in the old good times, what changed? What was removed or added that didn't sit well economically.

Making if decisions should not just be it, let's listen to our people and hear them out, and things can get better.
