Academic brilliance is worthy of monetary rewards

Source

In this present age and time, and according to what I have witnessed, I realised that there is no one that do not know the value of money, I mean even children that the only thing they are probably supposed to know is food, now, they have added Money to their collection of knowledge.

You will see a child that will tell you he'd want money over goodies with so much confidence, and you that is even giving the money will be confused and surprised at the level children are desperate for money.

In all, everyone knees the value of money, so tell me, if you were in a position where you are challenged, let's say you were challenged under the academic line, and at the end, there is a very interesting cash prize waiting for you with boldness, what exactly will be your preparation level?

The first thing we should know is that it's one thing to be naturally smart, and it's another thing to put in an effort to being smart, and the both can be very productive...
If you know that your efforts will at the end be productive and rewarded, there is just this zeal to be even more hard working...

Every one loves to be rewarded for every single thing they lay their hands to do, Taking your time to read, to assimilate and to be academically brilliant takes quite a while lot, and so that effort is worthy of monetary rewards, this encourages the students to be even better, with this reward, you see students challenging their limits..

Well, as much as monetary rewards are good for brilliant people, it's also needed that they are not just exposed to books alone, but also to the system of the world.
Why did I say so?
About 2 weeks Ago or thereabout, I went for a shoot where students who did well academically were rewarded according to the way they could.

There was this very brilliant girl whose G.P was a 4.7/5 and everyone was so amazed, cause she was so brilliant, and so the person that was supposed to handover her certificate to her said she's quite too qualified for the opportunity he wants to give her, and he asked her what her plans were now that she has finished school, but her response was she wanted to further, and after then? The man asked...

And she could not say anything, because all she knew was that she just wanted to come out with a very good grade, and after that, she really didn't have a plan it a structure of how she wants her life to be, until the man just told her that he'd give her the opportunity to work at some place with very good pay...

She really was not exposed to the fact that after school, there is a struggle, and yeah, now she knows, she's going to tell the world her experience; also, she got rewarded at the end of all her struggles in school...

Education pays, don't because of anything say that you will ignore education.

Well, it's good she got rewarded for her struggles in school but some don't have that kind of story to tell

Unfortunately, some students are stereotyped to think the goal for school is for the grades and not the application of knowledge in the wider society. Lucky the girl she got a sponsorship as a result of her brilliancy

I am also saying that if such a system is introduced, it will increase the interest of the students in their studies.

It definitely will, cause who doesn't want to be rewarded? Mostly with money?
