Crochet petal drop earrings with me.

Hello family @diyhub. Lovers of art and craft. It's your favourite crochet artist @zali.bee. Wishing you all a blessed weekend. Today, I bring to you something special something cute and beautiful.
Ever since I started crocheting, It has never crossed my mind to crochet earrings. But recently they kept popping up on my fyp. And then, I have decided to give it a try.
Grab your chair, popcorn, and anything you can grab haha! Because today I, will love you all to explore with me how I made this beautiful earrings.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE:
MATERIALS NEEDED:

1. A ball of yarn.
2. A pear of scissors.
3. Yarn needle.
4. 3.5mm hook.
5. Earring hooks.
   

NOTE: THERE ARE WORDS YOU WILL COME ACROSS DURING THIS TUTORIAL WHICH ARE: SLIP KNOT, CHAINS, DOUBLE CROCHET, TURN OVER.

STEP 1: I made a slip knot.

STEP 2: I chained 60 then I 5 extra chains = 65 chains.

STEP 3: I skipped 5 chains and I worked one dc.

STEP 4: I skipped 2 chains, in the next chain I place a double crochet. I chained 3, and place another double crochet in the same stitch.

IT IS FORMING A V SHAPE ALREADY

STEP 5: I skipped 2 chains, I place a double in the next stitch, chain 3 and double crochet into the same stitch.
I repeat same process across the chains.

DON'T WORRY IF IT CURLS WHILE WORKING IT'S NORMAL

STEP 6: I chained 3,which stands as my first double crochet for the next row. turn over, then I place 5 double crochet in the v shape space from the previous row. Then I place a single crochet in the next gap space.

STEP 7: In the next v shape space, I place 6 double crochet. Then in the next gap space, I place a single crochet.

STEP 8: In the next v shape space, I place 8 double crochet. And in the next gap space, I work a single crochet.

STEP 9: I repeat step 8 all across untill i have 2 v shape space left. In each V shape space, I place 10 double crochet and single crochet in the gap space. I Chained 1 and cut off my yarn.

Finally: I fold my petals starting from where I have my first 6 double crochet. Then I fold in a circular motion. Not too tight and not too loose. Then I secure with my yarn needle and weave in my ends. I attached it to the earring hooks. And tadaa. We are done.

I used exact same process to make another one in red. And I love love this.
I'm planing on crocheting a bouquet for Valentin. If Succeed without any busy schedule I promise to share with you all my family.
