Warhammer News: Age of Darness Saturnine 'leaked'

When there is a lot of hype on the new releases of a tabletop community like the Warhammer crowd, one has to wonder if it really is a leak or if it is done on purpose to create pre-advertising.

If you think about it, this is the cheapest form of advertising! This leaked image is a coveted item, like you got the news early and shared all over to interested parties.

In this case the Saturnine pattern Terminator armor is a re-vamp design of something that was in the lore from 1988. Since then, Games Workshop focussed on creating new patterns of Terminator Armor, the "modern" patterns. And when saying that, in the lore, they still use the same armour for thousands of years.

But the Horus Heresy book series and game goes back into the past where light can be shed on technologies and units that were mere rumour in 40k and now brought to life as units they can sell for the HH game.

The Saturnine Dreadnought is also a completely new thing, but one can argue that its existence was lost across 10,000 years of history and forgotten!

I have never played 30k, but people say that I have enough Firstborn to do so... Meanwhile I am happy to collect HH units if they have a 40k 10th Edition Datasheet!

We shall see what happens with these Saturnine Termintors.
