Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000
The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!
Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.
So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all.
Today is Day 41/96.
I have reviewed 61/148.
Time elapsed: 42.70%
Review Completion: 41.21%
Running behind here... I am counting yesterday as a fail and this must serve as motivation to get back on top!
Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $226 to pay off!

The Blue Scribes are a lone Epic Hero that has very specialized abilities.
Let's have a look at what a 75pts Epic hero does!

4 Attacks, Hitting on 5+, S2, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Anti-psyker 2+ (On a 2+ to Wound he causes a wound against a Psyker regardless of the toughness of the target)
Abilities
Deep Strike - If this unit arrives on the Battlefield from Reserves, it can be set up anywhere on the battlefield more than 9" from enemy models.
Lone Operative - This unit cannot be targeted by an attack that is more than 12" away.
Xirat’p’s Sorcerous Barrages
At the end of your Movement phase, roll one D6 for each enemy unit within 6" of this model: on a 2-3, that unit suffers 1 mortal wound; on a 4-5, that unit suffers D3 mortal wounds; on a 6, that unit suffers D6 mortal wounds.
P’tarix’s Sorcerous Syphon
While an enemy unit is within 12" of this model, each time a model in that unit makes a Psychic Attack, subtract 1 from the Wound roll.
Thoughts
Right so.... Their stats are OK... their main attack is super weak and it is strange to see a Tzeetch Daemon with no ranged attacks.
P’tarix reduces psychic damage but not zero.
Xirat’p can deal a bunch of Mortal Wounds just by being near enemy units... IF he survives.
He's not so tough and if he had to rock up at a battle against me, I would kill him fast!
That makes 48 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed, putting them on 96
% Completed! The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 85.
