Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000
The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!
Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.
So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all.
I took a long pause... because I got sick... and then got sick with a second virus... and now just recovering from a third infection which was bacterial... this is what happens when you have three kids in three schools! You get ALL the bugs!
So I count TODAY as the next day in the challenge! But I am running out of time too... and I desperately need to rebuild my HP and make more HBD... so I might post like I beast! Hopefully I can!

Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $226 to pay off!

I can see where this is going... this is Daemonettes of Slaanesh on a steed. Thus, they will be fast, hit like a razorblade cutting your organs out... but melt in a breeze and moonlight... let's see...
They are 80pts for 5 and 160pts for 10 of them in a unit.
Stats
Movement 14"
Toughness 4
Save 7+/5++(armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 2
Ld 7+
OC 1
Weapons
Standard Wargear: Lashing Tongue; Slashing Claws.
Options: 1 model may be equipped with an Instrument of Chaos.
1 other model may be equipped with a Daemonic Icon
Ranged Weapons
None
Melee Weapons
Slashing Claws.
3 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Devastating Wounds (Rolls of 6 to Wound cause Mortal Wounds)
Lashing Tongue
2 Attacks, Hitting on 4+, S4, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Lethal Hits (On a roll of 6 to Hit, automatically cause Wounds)
Extra Attacks (These attacks can be alongside other attacks)
Abilities
Deep Strike - If this unit arrives on the Battlefield from Reserves, it can be set up anywhere on the battlefield more than 9" from enemy models.
Scouts 9" - This unit can be moved 9" before the first turn is taken BUT after the roll for 1st turn has been rolled.
Unholy Speed
This unit can re-roll the Advance or Charge rolls!
Wargear Abilities
Instrument of Chaos
+1 to Charge rolls made by this unit.
Daemonic Icon
The unit has a Leadership of 6+
Thoughts
They are pretty much exactly as I expected. With the amount of attacks that they are bringing and being rather cheap per model, this unit is something that will create a large looking presance on the board.
They cannot be ignored, but I feel that dependant on your army, they if they can be reduced to around 4 models, that their ability to move a unit of Space Marines becomes limited.
A unit of 10 of these things on the charge statistically takes out 9 Space Marines!
10 Space Marines firing 20 Bolters will kill 4-5 Seekers so as I said... not very durable.
That makes 37 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed, putting them on 74
% Completed! The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 96.
