Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000
The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!
Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.
So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all.
I took a long pause... because I got sick... and then got sick with a second virus... and now just recovering from a third infection which was bacterial... this is what happens when you have three kids in three schools! You get ALL the bugs!
So I count TODAY as the next day in the challenge! But I am running out of time too... and I desperately need to rebuild my HP and make more HBD... so I might post like I beast! Hopefully I can!
Today is Day 31/96.
I have reviewed 47/148.
Time elapsed: 32.29%
Review Completion: 31.75%
Close behind.
Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $226 to pay off!
Every bit counts!
Back to the review!
Chaos Daemons, Rendmaster on Blood Throne
10th Edition Index
At 165pts, this Mounted Character cannot join units. However, it has a monstrous sort of light vehicle statline that will not make it that easy to deal with.
Meanwhile, should you allow this beastie to get into combat, then it is no pushover. This is something that you actively want to shoot down before it gets ino melee!
Stats
Movement 8"
Toughness 9
Save 4+/4++(armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 9
Ld 7+
OC 3
Weapons
Standard Wargear: Attendants’ hellblades; Blade of blood.
Ranged Weapons
Melee Weapons
Attendants' Hellblades
4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Extra Attacks (These attacks can be made in addition to other melee attacks that this model can make.)
Blade of Blood
5 Attacks, Hitting on 2+, S6, AP-2 and 3 Damage each.
Abilities
Deep Strike - If this unit arrives on the Battlefield from Reserves, it can be set up anywhere on the battlefield more than 9" from enemy models.
Blood Throne
At the start of the Fight Phase, select one enemy unit within 18" and visible to this model. Until the end of the Phase, when any friendly Khorne Daemon unit makes an attack against that unit, add 1 to Strength, Armor Piercing and Damage Characteristcs.
Champion Slayer
Each time this model makes an melee attack that targets a Character or a Monster, this model can re-roll Wound rolls. Each time this model Destroyed a Character or a Monster, this model regains up to D6 missing wounds.
Thoughts
So... he could buff his own attacks... 5x S7 AP-3 Damage 4 and 4x S6 AP-3 Damage 3... that is already something to fear. Going into a Character or Monster, then you have re-rolls to Wound... utterly terrifying!
I think he is well worth his points!
That makes 34 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed, putting them on 68% Completed! The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 99.
Thank you for reading!

I don't really enjoy the Nurgle stuff... but man this looks pretty cool. I'd love to see this cruising around the table.
I'm generally pretty ignorant of Daemon stuff.
Not a fan.
This thing looks pretty cool. The Nurgle stuff are quite disgusting.
Check out Rotigus...
I saw Rotigus and didn't love it. I'm not even sure if the boyz would want to krump it.
Yeah. Not my idea of a good time!
In which case... good job! It IS a Daemon!
