Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000
The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!
Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.
So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all.
I took a long pause... because I got sick... and then got sick with a second virus... and now just recovering from a third infection which was bacterial... this is what happens when you have three kids in three schools! You get ALL the bugs!
So I count TODAY as the next day in the challenge! But I am running out of time too... and I desperately need to rebuild my HP and make more HBD... so I might post like I beast! Hopefully I can!

Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $226 to pay off!

Chaos Daemons, Poxbringer
10th Edition Index
This gruesome gribbly Daemon is a unit leader for Plaguebearers. I do not know much about it, except that it is a Psyker.
At 55pts, let's see what it does!
Stats
Movement 5"
Toughness 5
Save 7+/5++/5+++(armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 5
Ld 7+
OC 1
Weapons
Standard Wargear: Plaguesword.
Ranged Weapons
Melee Weapons
Plaguesword
4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Lethal Hits (Rolls of a 6 to hits wound automatically)
Abilities
Deep Strike - If this unit arrives on the Battlefield from Reserves, it can be set up anywhere on the battlefield more than 9" from enemy models.
Feel No Pain (added above - the ability ro shrug off damage on a 5+)
Poxbringer
While leading a unit, models in that unit score a Critical to Hit on a 5+. This means that the unit's Lethal Hits trigger on 5+ instead of 6+, greatly increasing their damage output.
Feculent Despair
While an enemy unit is within 6" of this model, they subtract 1 from leadership rolls.
A good way of winning over Objectives. Sometimes there are other units that force a leadership test, this would then assist the test to fail.
Thoughts
Poxbringers make Plaguebearer units a lot better. Its own sword is also a lot more scary. The whole unit, including this model getting crit on 5+ is not something to be underestimated.
The neat thing about Plaguebearers is doing a sticky objective and ironically, prevention is better than cure when it comes to keeping things off an objective. Better to sticky and then charge and fight than to take and hold.
That makes 33 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed, putting them on 65% Completed! The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 100.
