Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!

What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000

The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!

Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.

So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all. That means that I am aiming at Day 96 being the 21st of July 2025!

Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear

With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.

I am collecting funds in the following ways:

• Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
• Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
• Selling some of the collection to friends.

At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $226 to pay off!

Chaos Daemons, Great Unclean One

10th Edition Index

A huge an iconic figure, this is the Great Daemon of Nurgle, the Great Unclean one. Just like the patron God, it is pudgy, jolly and loves to give presents! Its like if Father Christmas gave you herpes!

Thia model is 250pts! Which is a massive chunk! Just like this model.

Torrent (Hits Automatically)
Ignores Cover (The enemy cannot get Benefit of Cover against this weapon.

Plague Flail

6" Range, D6+1 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S7, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.

Melee Weapons

Bilesword — sweep

6 Attack, Hitting on 2+, S10, AP-2 and D6+1 Damage each.
Lethal Hits (Hit roll of 6 automatically Wound)

Bilesword — strike

12 Attack, Hitting on 2+, S6, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Lethal Hits (Hit roll of 6 automatically Wound)

Doomsday Bell

6 Attack, Hitting on 2+, S7, AP-1 and 2 Damage each.
Lethal Hits (Hit roll of 6 automatically Wound)
Reverberating Summons (Each time a model is destroyed by this weapon, you can select a Plaguebearers unit within 12" of the bearer and return 1 destroyed model to that unit.)

Bileblade

3 Attack, Hitting on 2+, S6, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Lethal Hits (Hit roll of 6 automatically Wound)
Extra Attacks (This weapon can attack in additional to other melee weapons used for this model.

Abilities

Deep Strike - If this unit arrives on the Battlefield from Reserves, it can be set up anywhere on the battlefield more than 9" from enemy models.
Deadly Demise D6 (When this model is destroyed, roll a D6, on a 6 it explodes dealing D6 Morthal Wounds to every unit within 6"

Great Daemon of Nurgle (Aura)

Nurgle Legiones Daemonica models from your army within 6" of this model count as being in this Army's Shadow of Chaos.

Daemin Lord of Nurgle (Aura)

Friendly Nurgle Legiones Daemonica models from your army within 6" of this model gain +1 Toughness.

Nurgle's Rot (Psychic)

At the end of your movement phase you can select one enemy unit within 12" of this model. Until the start of your next Movement Phase, that enemy unit is at -1 Toughness.

Thoughts

This model is so very iconic and damn... he really really Tough! I amfairly sure I know how to kill it though.

The auras and buffs are amazing!. I don't like Chaos but I can tell you, this guy is worth his point!

That makes 24 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 48% Completed! The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 111.
