Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000
The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!
Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.
So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all. That means that I am aiming at Day 96 being the 21st of July 2025!
Today is Day 2/96.
I have reviewed 3/148.
Time elapsed: 2.08%
Review Completion: 2.02%
Basically on par.
Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $245 to pay off!
Every bit counts!
Back to the review!
Chaos Knights, Knight Rampager
10th Edition Index
The Rampager is a metal beast with a singular purpose: To rip something apart in close combat.
They can destroy most things with a charge only unless they are something Titanic as well. They would probably stalk forward a little bit and then do a pell-mell charge towards the enemy.
They are 380pts to field.
Let's check its stats and abilities!
Stats
Movement 10"
Toughness 12
Save 3+/5++(invul against ranged only) (armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 22

OC 10
Weapons
Standard weapons: Warpstrike Claw, Reaper Chainsword, Diabolous Heavy Stubber
Ranged Weapons
Diabolus Heavy Stubber
36" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Rapid Fire 3 (When firing at a target at half range of 18", add 3x attacks)
Melee Weapons

4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S14, AP-4 and 6 Damage each.
Reaper Chainsword - Sweep option
12 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S9, AP-3 and 2 Damage each.

4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S20, AP-3 and 8 Damage each.
Warpstrike claw - Sweep option
8 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S10, AP-2 and 3 Damage each.
Abilities
Deadly Demise D6 (When this model is destroyed, roll a dice to see if it explodes. On a 6 it does so, dealing D6 damage to every unit within 6" of this model)
Bloodlust
Each time time model makes an attack in melee after making a charge move, those attacks have the Sustained Hits 1 rule.
Also, once per Battle, this model can Advance and Charge!
Frenzied Rampage
While within 9" of a War Dog model, when the War Dog model makes an melee attack, they can re-roll 1's to Hit.
Thoughts
Once per game this model can move blindingly fast and it can do massive amounts of damage in melee. It certainly will make the enemy second-guess their approaches in the direction where this model is laying in wait!
Scary!
That makes 7 Chaos Knight Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 70% Completed. The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 145.
Thank you for reading!

Dude.... Why are chaos knights so scary?
That's... that is like their whole thing... Also, there are usually only like 6 or 7 of them on the board, especially if there are three big ones.
still it feels like it will be a hella'vu fight to take them out and survive their firepower.
Oh aye. It can be. But you can focus on killing one big one and all the little ones and you can generally win a game.
