This thing scares me! Ouch!

Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000
The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!
Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.
So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all. That means that I am aiming at Day 96 being the 21st of July 2025!
Today is Day 1/96.
I have reviewed 1/148.
Time elapsed: 1.04%
Review Completion: 0.67%
So it begins!
Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $245 to pay off!
Every bit counts!
Back to the review.
The whole project has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!
686 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #357, I am 329 reviews behind! (Lowest I have been is 314 behind)
Chaos Knights, Knight Desecrator
10th Edition Index
Chaos Knights specialize in sowing terror amongst their enemies. Well... this particular Knight is my worst nightmare with an extreme capacity for destroying tanks and monsters, my Ironwolves would hate this guy!
Read on to find out more!
Let's check its stats and abilities!
Stats
Movement 10"
Toughness 12
Save 3+/5++(invul against ranged only) (armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 22
Ld 6+
OC 10
Weapons
Standard weapons: Desecrator Laser Destructor, Diabolus Heavy Stubber, Reaper Chainsword
Options: This model's Reaper Chainsword can be replaced by a Warpstrike Claw
Ranged Weapons
Diabolus Heavy Stubber
36" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 2+, S5, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Rapid Fire 3 (When firing at a target at half range of 18", add 3x attacks)
Desecrator Laser Destructor
72" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 2+, S18, AP-4 and D6+3 Damage each.
Melee Weapons
Reaper Chainsword - Strike option
4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S14, AP-4 and 6 Damage each.
Reaper Chainsword - Sweep option
12 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S9, AP-3 and 2 Damage each.
Warpstrike claw - Strike option
4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S20, AP-3 and 8 Damage each.
Warpstrike claw - Sweep option
8 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S10, AP-2 and 3 Damage each.
Abilities
Deadly Demise D6 (When this model is destroyed, roll a dice to see if it explodes. On a 6 it does so, dealing D6 damage to every unit within 6" of this model)
Obsessive Ruthlessness
Each time this model makes a Ranged Attack that targets a Monster or a Vehicle unit, that attack has the Devastating Wounds ability. This means that on a 6+ to wound causes Mortal Wounds.
Taskmaster
While within 9" of a War Dog model, the War Dog model can re-roll Hit rolls of 1 when making a ranged attack.
Thoughts
That Laser Destructor is ridiculous! It is going rip apart tanks and monsters too.
Apart from that, he boosts other ranged War Dogs. It is probably well worth it to have 1x Desectration and 2x War Dog Brigands. That would be some serious firepower!
That makes 5 Chaos Knight Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 50% Completed. The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 147.
Thank you for reading!
