Space Wolves incoming!

As explained in This post about new reveals at Adepticon the Space Wolves are suddenly being launched and dropped on our heads suddenly!

Thus my time for reviewing their Datasheets is running out. I have 34 Reviews to do, I am trying to maintain a fast pace so I will give myself 17 days including today to complete all of these. That means that the last day of this personal challenge will be the 15th of April 2025!

Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear

With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.

I am collecting funds in the following ways:

Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
Selling some of the collection to friends.

At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $254 to pay off!

The whole project has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.

I should have started when 10th edition launched!
676 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #343, I am 333 reviews behind! (Lowest I have been is 314 behind)

Space Wolves, Stormfang Gunship

While Aircraft certainly are not a favourite in 10th edition in competitive games, an Aircraft that can enter Hover mode, like the Stormfang can make it a lot more useful!

Plus in Eternal Carnage games (our 10th Edition Apocalypse battles) then Aircraft becomes super fun to have. I would love to have a fleet of these bad boys!

This guy is 300pts to field! That is expensive! It is also $92 to buy!

This model can replace its 2x Skyhammer Missile Luanchers for one of the following:

2x Twin Heavy Bolter

This model's Twin Stormstrike Missile Launcher can be replaced with 1x Twin Lascannon.

18" Range, 2 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S9, AP-4 and D6 Damage each.
Melta 2 (When shooting at a target within half range of 9" add 2 to the Damage of this weapon)
Twin-Linked (Re-roll to Wound with this weapon)

Twin Lascannon

48" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S12, AP-3 and D6+1 Damage each.
Twin-Linked (Re-roll to Wound with this weapon)

Helfrost Destructor - focused fire

36" Range, D3 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S11, AP-3 and 7 Damage each.
Sustained Hits D3 (A roll of a 6 to hit, generates another D3 Hits!)

Helfrost Destructor - dispersed fire

36" Range, D6+6 Shots, Hitting on Auto, S8, AP-1 and 2 Damage each.
Torrent (Hit automatically, just roll for number of shots)

Skyhammer Missile Launcher

48" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S8, AP-1 and D3 Damage each.
Anti-fly 2+ (Critically Wounds on a 2+ against targets that have the Fly Keyword)

Twin Stormstrike Missile Launcher

48" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S10, AP-2 and 3 Damage each.
Twin-Linked (Re-roll to Wound with this weapon)

Melee Weapons

Armoured Hull

6 Attacks, Hitting on 4+, S8, AP0 and 1 Damage each.

Abilities

Deadly Demise D6 (When it dies, roll a dice, on a 1, do D6 Mortal Wound on every unit within 6")
Hover - This Aircraft can go into battle as a Hove Vehicle.
Transport 6 - This model can carry 6 Infantry models. Jump Pack, Wulfen, Gravis and Terminator Armour take 2 slots each. Centurions take 3 spaces each.

Frozen Prey

In the Shooting phase, if you have shot at a Vehicle or a Monster with this model's Helfrost Destructor this unit is Frozen until the end of the enemy's next turn!

While Frozen, that unit is at -2 Movement, -2 Advance rolls and -2 to Charge rolls.

Thoughts

300pts! No wonder I have not seen one in the game!

But it does a lot of cool stuff. I really like the Helfrost cannon!

Then I will get value for points!

That makes 22 Space Wolves Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 62.85% Completed. The total Completed is 37.44% Complete! Can I review them all?!
