What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit!

Space Wolves incoming!

As explained in This post about new reveals at Adepticon the Space Wolves are suddenly being launched and dropped on our heads suddenly!

Thus my time for reviewing their Datasheets is running out. I have 34 Reviews to do, I am trying to maintain a fast pace so I will give myself 17 days including today to complete all of these. That means that the last day of this personal challenge will be the 15th of April 2025!

Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear

With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.

I am collecting funds in the following ways:

• Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
• Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
• Selling some of the collection to friends.

At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $254 to pay off!

The whole project has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.

I should have started when 10th edition launched!
675 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #340, I am 335 reviews behind! (Lowest I have been is 314 behind)

Space Wolves, Ragnar Blackmane

10th Edition Index

The Young King, Gifted One and Allslayer. Wolf Lord Ragnar Blackmane is a whirlwind in close combat and nearly the same sort of stats and level as Kharn the Betrayer of the World Eaters.

In lore and in the game he leads frontal assaults on the enemy and is best employed leading a unit of close combat specialists!

Ragnar is 90pts to play and is $45 to buy. Probably the most likely character to stay just as he is when the new Codex comes out!

Let's check his stats and abilities!

Weapons

Ranged Weapons

Bolt Pistol

12" Range, 1 Shots, Hitting on 2+, S4, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Pistol (This weapon can be fired while in melee)

Melee Weapons

Frostfang

8 Attacks, Hitting on 2+, S6, AP-3 and 2 Damage each.
Sustained Hits 1 (Rolls of a 6 to Hit causes 1 additional hit)

Abilities

War Howl

While this model is leading a unit, this unit can Advance and Charge.

Battle Lust

On the turn it Charges, until the end of the turn at 2 to the Attacks and Strength of Frostfang.

Thoughts

Move 6", Advance D6", Charge 2D6" and then 10x S8 attacks with Ap-3 and 2 Damage and Sustained Hits 1 he can very well rip through a whole squad of Marines with relative ease!

I now have the model. I need to paint him up and field him!

That makes 19 Space Wolves Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 54.28% Completed. The total Completed is 37.11% Complete! Can I review them all?!
