Space Wolves incoming!

As explained in This post about new reveals at Adepticon the Space Wolves are suddenly being launched and dropped on our heads suddenly!

Thus my time for reviewing their Datasheets is running out. I have 34 Reviews to do, I am trying to maintain a fast pace so I will give myself 17 days including today to complete all of these. That means that the last day of this personal challenge will be the 15th of April 2025!

Today is Day 5/17.
I have reviewed 11/34.

Time elapsed: 29.41%
Review Completion: 32.35%
On par and nearly 1/3rd of the way there!

Beyond them looms another 85 reviews of the Coming soon section! I better get cracking!

Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear

With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.

I am collecting funds in the following ways:

• Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
• Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
• Selling some of the collection to friends.

At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $264 to pay off!

The whole project has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.

I should have started when 10th edition launched!
672 days since the start of 10th Edition.
This is Review #335, I am 337 reviews behind! (Lowest I have been is 314 behind)

Space Wolves, Logan Grimnar on Stormrider

The Old Wolf. Fangfather. High King of Fenris. Again! Read the previous post!

Logan can also be fielded riding on Stormrider, his battle-sleigh pulled by two Thunderwolves and can then lead Thunderwolves into battle!

In this way he is 180pts and you cannot field both versions.

Let's check his stats and abilities!

Weapons

Ranged Weapons

Storm Bolter

24" Range, 2 Shots, Hitting on 2+, S4, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Rapid Fire 2 (Gain 2 additional shots at half range of 12"

Melee Weapons

The Axe of Morkai - one handed (sweep)

10 Attacks, Hitting on 2+, S6, AP-2 and 1 Damage each.

The Axe of Morkai - two handed (strike)

6 Attacks, Hitting on 2+, S8, AP-2 and 3 Damage each.

Flurry of Teeth and Claws

6 Attacks, Hitting on 4+, S5, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.

Abilities

The Great Wolf

Each time this model destroys an enemy unit, gain 1CP.

High King of Fenris

Once per game, in the Charge Phase, this model can use this ability. When he does all friendly Adeptus Astartes models in your army can re-roll Charge rolls and re-roll to Hit in melee.

Thoughts

All the same rules and weapons BUT, in this version he had a Movement of 10" a turn and 12 wounds! The wolves also get 6 attacks at S5 which is just extra icing!

That makes 14 Space Wolves Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 40% Completed. The total Completed is 36.57% Complete! Can I review them all?!
