Warhammer 40k - Painting Progress! A Productive day!

Hey everyone! Zak here from Cape Town, South Africa.

Like I said yesterday, I took the day to chill and paint my models. First up I needed to build the models and assemble the last few guys that were unpainted.

I assembled the units and then @merenludick gave me a hand and painted the unpainted models or parts black.

The next step was to go as Slap Chop as I can without being Slap-Chop and this is to heavily drybrush the whole model/unpainted areas with Wolf Grey.

Immediately the models start looking far better!

I then started painting shoulderpads and painted the bases white to start my snow effects.

Unfortunately there was still loads of painting to do on these guys and I did not get to finish. I had to go to hobby shop today to score my painting points. Hopefully they will at least have given me 3 points for having 3 colours.

What is important is that I made PROGRESS.

Well... @merenludick is busy painting his Tyranids and I will put a movie on for us and I will continue painting now!
