Warhammer 40k - I finish the final Custodes unit for my Commission: Jetbikes!

Hello everyone! Zak here from Cape Town, South Africa! This is the tabletop hobby of Warhammer 40,000 and these are Custodes Vertus Praetors!

This is part of a miniature assembly commission for @xenowolfza. Hopefully we shall see lots of posts how he paints them up!

I quite enjoyed building this unit. The kit is a lot more intuitive than the Custodian Guard units. When you start putting pieces together they all just fall into place for me and they were not too difficult to clean.

Also they are absolutely MASSIVE bikes!

At this point there are already 7 components that make up the bike. Halves for the body, halves for the nose, the guns and the eagle body.

What guns you ask?

It has a choice between bolters and missiles. I recon the missiles are the best option on a unit like this.

Then you add foot plates and fins...

And the hood of the jetbike and all of a sudden it looks 10x more beefy!

Then it is time to get all the pieces off the sprue that make the rider and clean them up.

After that came assembly and look at that! Grey Hunter Space Marine for size comparison!

That spear would cut a Space Marine in half at high speeds!

On the second session it went even faster, two more bikes and a rider go built before I even thought of taking photos! Haha!

And there we go, final rider done!

This guy could be the Dawneagle Shield-Captain... or not... its totally up to the player, they all have the same amount of bling on them.

Each and every one of them... A legend and a tank!
