Warhammer 40k - Forge-bolter on Battle-roomba!
A new edition to my Space Wolves Armory will be another Iron Priest playing as the Techmarine Datasheet.
This comes with a Fore-bolter in the new Codex, but of course, I have some older models that do not have this.... so I got creative!
Yes, this model is actually a 1995, 2nd Edition Techmarine. They usually need a plastic pistol. I needed something to representthe Grav-pistol on the Tech Marine, right now I will use a Space Wolves Plasma Pistol to represent it.
And then to show WYSIWYG, I have added a Heavy Bolter on "Battle Roomba" on his base so you can understand where the bolter shots are coming from.
On the new Primaris Techmarines, the Forge Bolter is on an arm from the backpack but but since this model does not have that... and I really did not want to cut into this model, I went with this solution.
Look how majestic this company of Iron Priests look like! Heroes of the Fenrisian Force!
Need to paint the two though!
Thank for checking this out!

Do different model versions come in different colours or were they made of different things? I'm pretty sure that I've seen the silver colour a hundred million years ago when eldest got a Warhammer model to paint as part of an art project (I don't have good photos of it unfortunately) but all the ones youngest has been getting are a darker grey.
That battle roomba looks slightly more hardcore than the stabbies I'm accustomed to seeing XD
Thanks for the question!
So mostly the models were made of white metal - pewter in the past.
Today 90% of the model kits are a plastic but there are also some resin models available from Games Workshop. I try to avoid them because they can be brittle!
Also people 3D print plastic or resin as well.
I thought it would be fun to have a shooty roomba! It would be controlled by the Techmarine's brain. Hehe
Model looks great man. They definitely have a presence together. Get them all painted.
Yup! Will do!
