The Wild Garden that needs to be tamed!
This winter the family and myself have been getting sickness after sickness and then there was loads of rain... and then I got busy from one site to a ship and then to another ship.... constantly busy and because of that the Garden has been neglected.
But when I neglected it, I had been struggling to keep the grass alive... now look at it!
Well... I have a lot of work to do! Wish me luck! haha!
Cheers!

Wow, despite being neglected the garden still looks like holding on, Sometimes nature surprises us. Enjoy gardening.
Thank you. Indeed. At least the rainfall was good!
Looks lovely and lush ! As my mother said, never mind if the lawn is full of weeds, at least it's green 😁
You might be able to transplant grass clumps from the veggie beds to parts of the lawn that are too weed-filled. But the bits which are patchy where lawn is supposed to be are an incredibly useful tool. It tells you there's something wrong with the soil or drainage in those areas. So you could dig it over and mix in sand and compost, or you could just put raised beds there, fill them with compost and grow veggies.
It'll be hard work, but your garden has so much potential to be a nice place and hugely productive !
Thanks! We managed to do quite a bit of work yesterday. Made some good progress! Today was more of a resting day.
Resting is essential ! You both live such crazy busy lives, if you don't take time to rest and chill out when you have the chance you'll get burned out and ill. Balance is important !
Looks like you will be spending at least two full days of work on this place if you got proper tools. You are lucky it is mostly "just grass" growing all over your future garden.^^
Good luck and keep us updated as soon as you are done! :)
Thank you! There will be updates for sure!
