This looks like a spider species that swarms. You'll have other spiders there but over here we have Orb-weavers that do this every year around fig trees and certain bougenvillae bushes.

Very cool and in time for Spooky Season!

Well, not usually, but I prefer my spiders to arrive in single-digit numbers.

Might have something to do with a chap I used to work with; he went on holiday to some exotic place and came back with a sore knee. Over the course of a week or so, it got redder and redder and grew more and more swollen. So he went to hospital. They lanced it, expecting it to release some pus from an infection, but thousands of baby spiders crawled out instead.....
