My 3000pts+ Imperial Army Collection

Hello everyone!

I am Zak Ludick from Cape Town, South Africa and this is my current Warhammer 40,000 (painted) collection all in one place.

In reality I own many more models... I can't even begin to guess really.

I have always wanted to have a massive Warhammer 40k army that I could play in huge battles. Of course I play the standard mission sizes all the time as well, and for that I play my Space Wolves.

The Sons of Russ were the first army that I collected and I guess my play style has always been a bit wolfy.

I also collected Dark Angels (more Space Marines), Grey Knights (anti-Daemon Space Marines), and have a collection of Agents of the Imperium as well.

Eventually it come to my head at some time to stick to Imperial forces, as they can fight alongside one another in massive battles!

And then the Leagues of Votann came out... I got. Box of those because I love Dwarves!

Luckily, the Votann are actually of human descent and have genetically modified themselves for thousands of years to survive the Galactic Core. Also luckily, Kinbands of Votann would often hire themselves out as mercenaries as long as their League is being paid for them to be there.

So this put me at ease. I could continue with the Great Plan.

Assisting the plan to build and paint all the stuff that's been laying around in disrepair is the Eternal Carnage scenario, which I mention in my blog not too long ago.

This mission pits my current painted army against 3 other wargamers and everything that they have that is painted up.

One of those guys I got to join Hive, is @xenowolfza and he also plays Space Wolves.

The other two guys play Dark Angels and Salamanders respectively, which are other loyal Space Marine Chapters.

Our next Eternal Carnage shall be on the 5th of August and the three guys are bringing a total of around 5100pts of models to take me on!

In Eternal Carnage, you escalate on to the board. And the rate at which forces arrive is determined by the size of the smaller army. Yes, this means that a Horde can attack a Last Stand Army!

I need to get my butt in gear as I am behind in points! I have two weekends and two weeks to finish off my units that I need to just equal the other guys.

We shall see what happens!

I will do another update next week hopefully with more units and labels as to what each one of these troops, heroes and tanks are.

I should get to some painting now, as well as an assortment of other chores!
