Life - Reset Required!

It is ironic that I posted not too long ago about burnout and then feel like I have experienced a little burnout yesterday myself.

Hence, posts on Thursday and nothing on Friday and then here I am again, making a post and interacting on Hive.

While most of the time you can manage a burn out from overworking yourself and then falling flat on your face.

I managed quite a high frequency of posting as part of my day to day routine despite my long work hours.

Instead, my burnout came from a different source: That of stress.

After a fight with one of our customers, where the guy was driven by the concept of saving money while disregarding due process and procedure to do the repair, the customer got a bit personal with his insults and accusations.

So this made me very angry and in turn despondent. It really just puts the drain on me. I needed a day to recharge and bit and then dust myself off and get back on the horse.

Some good news is that I finally got my overtime money in (which has taken a while to arrive), I was worried that I was going to have to do ANOTHER power down and that was also stressing me out a bit!

No longer needed so I can focus on rebuilding my HP to over 5000HP again and grow and grow and grow!

Have a great Saturday everyone!

Cheers!

I sympathise about burnout.... I'm suffering with it myself right now. A few days and I'll be okay, but posting during the week is just not happening right now.

I'm glad to see it looks like you've got a handle on it - just recognising it's what's going on is a huge step in solving it. And it's awesome news that your overtime came through and you don't have to power down. With any luck, you'll be able to build enough HIVE that you can build an HBD reserve that generates enough interest to replace power downs.

It is important to maintain a balance which will help you post at least once every day. Financial stress is not pleasant because there are no easy answers.

Indeed. There is no balance when there is poverty. It is quite common for people to either run multiple jobs or turn to crime when there is no readily available funds.

I work well for my company. I am responsible for the successful management of one main site plus keeping tabs on multiple other sites and ensuring that we do things properly.

I have managed to find a way to expand our profits on the main site by reading the site rules and claim system. I work longer hours than anyone on site, then come home and blog hard.

We shall see if my hard work pays off.

One way or another, I will succeed. If I do not immediately succeed with the course of action I am taking, I will find a new way. But I am also not in the habit of abandoning a plan in the middle of progress.

I work in the casino. All of my guests, at some point, take it personally, and proceed to take it out on me. Not to mention 3 really rude, know-it all teenagers at home...really keeps me from posting, well, pretty much anything but comments.

I have intentions to become prolific, but just drained from the day to day.

Yeah, I get that. I also have three teens at home. Well the youngest is a preteen.

It is hard...
