The Busy Bees

Happy Sunday everyone! Its a bit of a late Busy Bees post from me, but there have been some good and some bad obstacles...

On the bad side, Eskom Load Shedding in South Africa means the power goes on and off... right now I am sitting in the dark and using the mobile phone data and laptop battery to post what I have and then head to bed!

Some of the good is that we had a friend visiting from the UK and there was a bit of socializing AND I got to go to the hobby shop for a good amount of hours.

Ecency Points to distribute

It would also be really cool to see you guys catch up to these larger accounts due to your activity vs the inactivity of these accounts.

NOTE that these rules are going to change to suit the 100 ACTIVE accounts vision. Once we have 100 Active members those inactive placeholders will fall away. Then we will really become a powerhouse.

Also, there's a fun new initiative set up by @livinguktaiwan to help gamify and incentivise new(ish) Hive users to post and engage regularly - you can read all about it HERE or go straight to it at https://apishive.blog/

The criteria to join look strict, but they're actually easy because they're a reflection of what it takes to be a good Hive user. The end goal is to reward newish active accounts with HP delegations - in turn, they increase your earnings if you are regularly upvoting other people's content. A virtuous circle all around !

It's a pleasure - I love projects like this !

Am I right in thinking that in order to gift nectars, I have to first collect enough bees ? My current plan is to support the project (and encourage people) by inflicting daily nectars on them until they submit and join the fun 😁

Users will start to get nectar drops once they get their 4th honey pot, it's a bonus asset to reward them for effort, and enable them to encourage others to do the same.

I have enlisted some experienced users to help me encourage people by giving them the ability to claim Nectars on day 1. You'll be able to collect Nectar drops tomorrow 😀.

However, Nectars can only be gifted to people who are already logged onto the website. It's important people join Apis Hive because they want to.

Being off-grid I know what sometimes unstable electrical systems are like, and their inconvenience. I'm glad that you were able to get everything done regardless of the lack of digital juice, and that you got to have some fun with a friend hobbying!
