Gardening - The 10min a day and some good results!
Good day! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town South Africa and this is my gardening journal!
I have been more than busy the last few weeks... and this week is just getting busier and busier!
So I have needed to do something to make sure that my garden gets SOME attention besides the daily watering.
So this morning I tried it out. Timer set for 10min to dedicate some time to the garden. I then dash about deweeding and cleaning like I am doing a trolley-dash... I managed to get quite a bit done and I am wondering if maybe I can do the same again or perhaps 2x 10min spurts. I love seeing the progress.
You will see that right on top I have another good looking butternut coming in!
This is the other butternut hanging high in the air... done not look like he is doing as well...
Just 10mins of de-weeding and getting the grass around the veggie garden under control!
Now this one pathway looks less overgrown.
I snipped off shoots from the basil last week, they are back again of course!
I managed to cut them all down as part of that 10min!
And finally. I have managed to tidy up around the compost heap. ALSO during that 10 mins!
It is amazing what I can get done if I put my mind to it and I just move as swiftly as I can!

Oooh, I like this idea ! I spend my life rushing around in a dizzy spiral of trying to get everything done. A 10 minute a day garden blitz (except when it's bucketing with rain !) might help keep it all under control 😀
