Don't wait for inspiration!
Don't wait for inspiration!
There, that is the main message of this post and really everything you need to know.... Not satisfied? You need me to explain it?
Maybe that will be helpful after all!
The funny thing about "motivationals" and "self-help books" is that they generally tell us and teach us things that we already know! Sometimes they put things into an analogy of a situation removed from your own and if you are lucky, you can unpack the lesson and then apply it to your own.
Sometimes you get that thing that you sort-of know and with it some pictures. It sometimes takes it well. Each person is going to find that some of the lessons that need to be learned are going to be easy ones while other lessons will be really difficult for them to master.
So, this is one of those kind of articles. Maybe you will find it really helpful, maybe it won't be helpful to you at all. To each their own.
So let's get into it.
The Problem
People often say things like "waiting for the right opportunity" or "I am looking for the inspiration."
I don't think that these saying are very helping to ourselves. If you really are interested in getting something done and achieving something then you need to push these things aside!
"Waiting for the right moment" is putting the doing of the thing into the future, and in indeterminate amount of time too.
"I am looking for inspiration" / "I am waiting for inspiration" both are pretty passive statements that you are putting something other than yourself in charge of the work. That somehow inspiration is something that happens to you without your consent or influence and then you will do something.
Change of Perspective
The main thing, if you did not already know where this was going: Is that you need to move the onus of responsibility and power to YOU.
YOU are the one who shall create the moment. You cannot wait for it. You cannot accept that the right moment will come along and make everything just right for you to make a start at what you need to do. You simply need to make a moment for it, the sooner, the better and without procrastinating about it!
You cannot wait for nor look out for inspiration. This is like waiting for the universe to write an invitation letter to you to get started and get on with it. You are looking for external permission to start. This is wrong.
Is this something that you want to do? Then do it! If not, then don't do it and move on!
It seems so simple but at the same time there are so many people that are trapped in the circular logic that cannot get started because there is no sign for them to do so. Meanwhile there will be a very good indication when you are actually busy doing it!
Solutions
Everyone is looking for some sort of thing to do or a trick or a hack.
Bottom line - be honest with yourself. There is no dodging that it will be a certain inescapable factor of work.
Make a start - Taking the first step breaks the ice. If you can make a start and take the first step, the ice is broken. Take the second step, the momentum grows.
Sometimes you will falter - Accept this and do not accept it as par for the course and dust yourself off and do not allow this to be a reason for you to stop!
Once you are going, just focus on putting one foot before the other and the next thing you know: You will have created something inspirational!
So go out there! Get down to business and make your goals happen!
Thank you for reading this post!

Waiting for the right opportunity.
This quote has made many people miss out on opportunities because sometimes they are not something we wait for; they can be created through our actions and effort.100% We must create our opportunities!
It's true that "opportunities" or "inspiration" can come, but most of the time, people who USE them are also those who CREATED them too! You work on opportunity, and when it comes, you USE it! It sounds a bit strange, but it works like that... In the way that you said it, work consistently, and it will come... create 100 posts to be better and to create the 101st blogpost where you will nail it!
Speaking of motivational books, or entrepreneurs' books, I did a couple of those when I was in the MLM waters, but recently, I found personal, successful stories of my HIVE friends much more appealing and inspiring than any other book! I know that guy/girl, if she made it, I can do it too!

Thank you so much for picking my post!
I am so glad that I took initiative and made the post instead of only thinking about the concept! hehe
It is one thing that people can use others as inspirations but we can still create them for ourselves
Absolutely! We must be the ones to choose to create!
We really should
Indeed! So what is on the plans today?
Nothing much sir 🥰
Oh well. Maybe you had a chill day then.

I think everyone who has tried to discipline themselves or do something difficult will realize at some point that motivation alone is practically worthless in the long run. When you feel lazy, when you feel unable, when circumstances are adverse, etc., motivation will not be what gets you up to do what you should do. Purpose will.
But I guess you have to train yourself to do things when you have no desire or motivation. It's like an exercise, each time it's a repetition. So, no motivation? No problem, it's not needed.
Cheers!
Haha, yeah. Reminds me about this meme:
Great post buddy. It's difficult sometimes to bring up the ugly truth of something but you nailed it right on the head. it is every individuals own path that they should pave for themselves. nobody gets a free pass to success. Go out and make your own success.
Indeed. You do however, have unlimited potential!
I totally agree with you , taking a
The first step breaks the ice. It's better to try than not trying at all
Indeed. I always feel better once that "first blood" has been taken. It gets easier from there!
