No one doesnt like manga especially if it belongs to the science fiction genre I always look for stories that present different ideas about the future but in a calm style and far from traditional conflicts and this is what I found in Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou I think this manga offers a unique reading experience as it focuses on calm and contemplative atmospheres instead of fast and exciting events.
The story revolves around Alpha an android living in a world that is slowly starting to recede There are no huge disasters or battles in the story but rather just a look at daily life from the perspective of a calm person who wanders the world meets different people and enjoys the small moments As I mentioned I really like this type of narration because it gives the reader a sense of comfort and tranquility while reading unlike many works that focus on tension and conflict.
The graphics in the manga are very good and its simple and soft style adds to the overall atmosphere of the story The backgrounds are full of details and reflect the feeling of isolation and calm in this changing future world I think what makes this manga special is its ability to make the reader think about life itself and how beauty can be found in the simplest things like a cup of coffee at sunset or a conversation with a passerby
