Una tarde de cumpleaños (Esp- Eng)

Hola amigos de este mundo azul.
David es un niño con aventuras constantes e historias que contar de él.

Ahora mismo que escribo está sentado frente a la computadora viendo videos de constelaciones, pero esa no es la historia de hoy.

En mi centro de trabajo hay varios patios y uno de ellos es Los Tamarindos, es un espacio grande para hacer actividades, cumpleaños, reuniones al aire libre, etc...

Una mañana me pidieron el patio para hacer un cumpleaños y me dijeron que llevara a David, porque además era un niño de la escuela quien cumplía años.

Yo, un poco temerosa porque a David no le gustan los cumpleaños, ni las multitudes, ni los sonidos altos, le pregunté si él quería ir y me dijo que sí.

De igual manera yo debía estar preparada por si en algún momento no se sentía a gusto, así que lo preparé para la fiesta.

Entonces comenzaron a llegar los artistas contratados y David se empezó a adaptar y a los demás niños.

Comenzó la fiesta

Los personajes y payasos empezaron a jugar y mi niño no sabía cómo hacer, estaba inquieto y se movía constantemente como cuando se autorregula.

En un momento salió a la carrera para donde jugaban y también jugó a entregar objetos, a bailar, a seguir a la payasa, se metió a la piñata. Estuvo en casi todos los juegos.

Hubo un momento cuando fue a la mata de güira y agarró una, los demás niños también querían pero tenían miedo a ser requeridos por eso, yo los autoricé. Así andaban muchos con güiras.

Para imitar a los demás niños y demostrar que él también podía comer solo, hizo el intento y lo hizo muy bien. Creo que se va superando en unos cuantos aspectos.

Por ratos se estresaba, pero lograba salir, solo o con mi ayuda, le regalaron un pito y pensé que le molestaría, a los demás niños también le dieron pitos, y todos andaban pitando, había mucho ruido.

Al principio él no se sintió cómodo, pero cuando empezó a pitar él también enseguida se relajó y disfrutó del cumpleaños.

Indiscutiblemente fue una tarde provechosa.

David is a boy with constant adventures and stories to tell.

Right now, as I write this, he's sitting in front of the computer watching videos about constellations, but that's not today's story.

At my workplace, there are several courtyards, and one of them is Los Tamarindos. It's a large space for activities, birthday parties, outdoor gatherings, etc.

One morning, they asked me to use the courtyard for a birthday party and told me to bring David, since it was also the birthday of a student at school.

I was a little apprehensive because David doesn't like birthday parties, crowds, or loud noises, so I asked him if he wanted to come, and he said yes.

Even so, I had to be prepared in case he felt uncomfortable at any point, so I got him ready for the party.

Then the hired performers started arriving, and David began to adjust to them and the other children.

The party began.

The characters and clowns started playing, and my little boy didn't know what to do. He was restless and constantly moving around, like when he's trying to regulate his emotions.

At one point, he ran off to where they were playing and played games like fetch, dancing, and following the clown. He even climbed into the piñata. He was in almost every game.

There was a moment when he went to the calabash tree and picked one. The other children wanted some too, but they were afraid of being called out for it, so I gave them permission. Many of them were carrying calabashes.

To imitate the other children and show that he could also eat on his own, he tried it and did very well. I think he's improving in several areas.

He got stressed at times, but he managed to get out, either on his own or with my help. He was given a whistle as a gift, and I thought it would bother him. The other children also received whistles, and everyone was whistling them; it was very noisy.

At first, he didn't feel comfortable, but when he started whistling too, he immediately relaxed and enjoyed the birthday party.

It was definitely a productive afternoon.
