Embellecernos, querernos, amarnos a nosotras mismas, preocuparnos por nuestra apariencia, sentirnos hermosas, es una manera de ser feliz, sin llegar a ser mujeres superficiales. Mujeres, decididas, inteligentes, luchadoras.

Un abrazo grande #ladiesofhive para todos y todas, porque sé que muchos hombres integran esta comunidad donde reina el amor y respeto por las féminas del mundo. A los caballeros de nuestra comunidad, mi respeto.

En el inicio, les hablaba de embellecernos, porque hoy me sentí, no identificada directamente por mi color de piel o mi cabello, pero si como mujer. Ahora les explico.

En la filial de la Fundación Nicolás Guillén en Las Tunas, hay un proyecto espectacular, se nombra Qué negra. Su objetivo es enseñar a las mujeres de pelo rizo a quererse de forma natural, a amar su cabello.

Pero además tiene productos para mejorarlos, y si quisieran alisarlo también, pero siempre recomiendan mantenerlo natural. La profe Amara, quien además tiene el cabello rizado, imparte conferencias a grupos de mujeres y adolescentes.

Además, que vende accesorios y productos para este tipo de cabello. Cada día son muchas las muchachas de cualquier edad que pasan por la institución en busca de la profe para pedirle consejos.

Hay muchachas que van para que las ayude o las enseñe a como peinar los rebeldes cabellos.

Hoy me alegré tanto al ver un grupo de adolescentes escuchando cada palabra de aliento. Muchas no tienen el cabello rizo, lo tienen lacio, pelo la profe Amara es una experta, para ellas también tenía el consejo.

Y no solo hable de como peinarse, también que producto natural aplicarnos, cuando debemos cortar las puntas, que es lo que tenemos en casa y no sabemos que es una maravilla para hidratar el cabello según el tipo que sea, normal, graso o seco.

Hoy, por eso que les cuento y algunas otras cosas más, ha sido un día espectacular.
Espero que sonrían y se amen sin importar color de piel, estatura, o sencillamente situación financiera. Sonrían que somos mujeres, mujeres hermosas.

And she didn't just talk about how to style their hair, but also what natural products to use, when to trim the ends, what we have at home, and what we don't know is wonderful for moisturizing hair, depending on its type: normal, oily, or dry.
