English Version

A big hello to all the members of this wonderful community, where I imagine that there are not only women, but there must also be respectful men and defenders of women's rights, men who believe that women are not only the lady in charge of household chores, but also that they are the lady of the house who must receive love, respect and loyalty.

This is my first post in this community and I cannot talk about myself, first I have to talk about my mother, that warrior who gave me life and raised me as God commands, putting all her effort into making everything go well for her.

That wonderful woman, whose name is Lidia, had me almost at 22 years old, I was practically a child, I was her fourth pregnancy and the only one she was successful. For obvious reasons I am the only daughter on my mother's side.

Since I was 9 years old, my mother began painting nails to help with the household finances because there were six siblings and she was the oldest, so she had to do this arduous task. When she grew up, even after she was born, she continued painting nails.

My mother was not able to study or complete a university degree. She wanted to be a nurse, but she couldn't make it, those were different times. In any case, her responsibility as a mother is incalculable.

She worked in many places, as a facilities assistant, receptionist, custodian, fixing umbrellas, caring for the sick or also helping my father in the carpentry shop. Nothing stops my mother, not even the work that requires more effort.

She never forbade me to study what I liked, she always told me that I had to do it because that was my future and she was always right. Mothers are always right, even if it makes us uncomfortable many times.

Today, my mother is 62 years old, she is very sick from nerves apart from other illnesses and conditions acquired over the years and the vicissitudes of life. Many times she makes me angry with the things she does or says, however, that is my guerrilla. My CHAMPION.

The published text is original and the images were taken from my mother's Facebook profile and these in turn were made into a family album.
