A trip to the Italian Bordighera (part 64). Поездка в Итальянскую Бордигеру (часть 55)
Hello everybody! I continue my story about my long-ago trip to the north of Italy. Bordighera is a characteristic corner on the coast of the Ligurian Sea, with many mountains around and pebble beaches. Once I asked Franco, our local friend, why there are no sandbanks here? To which he replied, this is so because this area partly belongs to the Alpine mountain system and the pebbles on the beach are the result of the destruction of rocks.
The answer seemed logical to me, although my wife and I had once visited Naples shortly before that trip and stayed in the same hotel there. I remember that there were beautiful pine trees and very beautiful sandy beaches. But Naples is surrounded by mountains, including the legendary Vesuvius. Why then did the mountains in the Naples area not affect the local seashore?
But at that time, I did not delve into this topic, especially since Franco is a great patriot of his city. He seriously considers the beaches of Bordighera to be the best in the whole wide world. On the other hand, we had no choice, and to be honest, I really enjoyed swimming in the local sea. And when you're lying on the shore, there are a lot of small shells and various beautiful pebbles around, which are interesting to look at up close.
In my photos today, there are different corners of Bordighera. Everything is beautiful there, even if you take in the frame, at first glance, the most ordinary places.
Привет всем! Я продолжаю свой рассказ о своей давней поездке по северу Италии. Бордигера - характерный уголок на побережье Лигурийского моря, здесь много гор вокруг и и галечные пляжи. Как-то раз я спросил у Франко, нашего местного друга – почему здесь не встретишь песчаных отмелей? На что он ответил, это так, потому что данная местность частично принадлежит к альпийской горной системе и галька на пляже - результат разрушения горных пород.
Ответ показался мне логичным, хотя когда-то незадолго до той поездки мы с женой побывали в Неаполе и останавливались там в одном отеле. Помню, что там были красивые сосны и очень красивые песчаные пляжи. Но ведь Неаполь окружён горами, в том числе там рядом расположен легендарный Везувий. Почему же тогда горы в районе Неаполя не повлияли на местный берег моря?
Но в тот раз я не стал углубляться в эту тему, тем более что Франко - большой патриот своего города. Он всерьёз считает пляжи Бордигеры лучшими на всём белом свете. С другой стороны у нас не было выбора, да и, честно говоря, мне действительно понравилось купаться в местном море. А когда ты лежишь на берегу, вокруг много мелких ракушек и разной красивой гальки, которые интересно рассматривать вблизи.
На моих сегодняшних фотографиях есть разные уголки Бордигеры. Там красиво всё, даже если ты берёшь в кадр, на первый взгляд, самые обычные места.
