Our Italian friend Franco has a very close relationship with Bordighera. He was born here, grew up here, and also had his own hotel business for a long time. He even showed us the very small hotel that once belonged to his family. Eventually, Franco retired and now remembers the old days with a slight sadness. But at the same time, he does not regret much about the past, since now he is resting and spending time the way he wants.

In September, the sea on the coast of Bordighera is very warm. The beginning of autumn is considered the most profitable season, but to be honest, I did not notice large crowds of tourists there in 2013. This city stands apart from the bustling and affluent areas of northern Italy. Only connoisseurs and connoisseurs of quiet comfort visit this place. Periodically, the sea storms and then the local coast guard posts a "red flag" on the beach - a sign that swimming is not allowed.

But for us, Russian tourists, such an order is not something catastrophic. Moreover, this is just a prescription, and if you want, then everyone can swim in a light storm. At the same time, we weren't the only ones who were so crazy. At that time, there were very few migrants in Bordighera, mostly vacationers from different places. Many of them went into the water despite the "red flags".

My camera perfectly justified its purpose. I was able to shoot a lot of interesting places. As you have already noticed, and as I have already said, most of these shots are views of the city, different houses, streets. Then I watched the footage many times and sighed each time from the warmth of the memories that came flooding back.

Despite the fact that Bordighera is a very small town, trolleybuses and buses travel through the narrow streets here. They mostly have through routes, cruising long distances along the coast. The routes pass by several cities and once we went on such a trolleybus trip, but I will tell you about this in one of the following publications.

Он даже показывал нам тот самый небольшой отель, который когда-то принадлежал его семье. Со временем Франко вышел на пенсию и теперь вспоминает о прежних временах с лёгкой грустью. Но при этом не сильно жалеет об ушедшем, так как теперь он отдыхает и проводит время так, как ему хочется.

В сентябре море на побережье Бордигеры очень тёплое. Начало осени считается самым прибыльным сезоном, но честно говоря я не заметил там в 2013 году больших толп туристов. Этот город стоит в стороне от шумных и богатых районов северной Италии. Лишь знатоки и ценители тихого уюта посещают это место. Периодически море штормит и тогда местная береговая служба вывешивает "красный флаг" на пляже - знак того, что купаться не разрешено.

Но для нас, русских туристов, подобное предписание не является чем-то катастрофическим. Тем более, что это всего лишь предписание, и если хочется, то каждый может купаться в лёгкий шторм. При этом мы были не одни такие сумасшедшие. В те времена в Бордигере было очень мало мигрантов, в основном отдыхающие из разных мест. Многие из них лезли в воду невзирая на "красные флаги".

Мой фотоаппарат прекрасно оправдывал своё назначение. Мне удавалось снимать очень много интересных мест. Как вы уже заметили, и как я уже говорил, большинство этих кадров - виды города, разных домов, улиц. Потом я много раз просматривал отснятый материал и всякий раз вздыхал от теплоты нахлынувших воспоминаний.

Невзирая на то, что Бордигера - очень маленький городок, здесь по узким улочкам ездят троллейбусы и автобусы. В основном они имеют сквозные маршруты, курсируя на большие расстояния вдоль побережья. Маршруты проходят мимо нескольких городов и однажды мы отправились в такое троллейбусное путешествие но об этом я расскажу в одной из следующих публикаций.
