Hello everybody! Today I continue my story about a trip to Bordighera, Italy, where we had a vacation back in 2013. So, as for the sea and city embankments, everything here is about the same as in most southern resort towns located by the water. Palm alleys lead along cozy paths where vacationers and rare locals stroll leisurely. There are many cafes and small restaurants here, which are very sparsely populated in September. You won't have to wait long for your order at the local menu.

Only once a dark-skinned guy approached us on the beach, offering to buy all sorts of trinkets, watches and souvenirs from him. He seemed very friendly to us. Franco said that in those years there were quite a few Moroccans and Syrians in these places. But now the flow of migrants has increased significantly. However, Bordighera is just a transit point for them. They are moving on to the major cities of Italy, France and further to Germany.

Even when we were traveling from Milan to Bordighera by train, I noticed that part of the way we were traveling along the coast of the Ligurian Sea. It's a very beautiful road. She sometimes comes close to the shore, then moves slightly away from it. I looked at the length of the railway line on the map and found out that this road is very long, it stretches along the entire north of Italy, and then crosses the border and stretches along the Mediterranean coast of France in the same way.

There are quite a lot of playgrounds in Bordighera. I was surprised that there are almost no children on them. Franco commented on this fact by saying that in Italy there are cases of child theft, so children on playgrounds are always under the supervision of one of the elders. Later, I watched more than once how some babysitters or grandmothers accompanied their charges to such places for games. Tomorrow I will continue my story about the wonderful town of Bordighera. Привет всем! Сегодняя продолжаю свой рассказ о поездке в итальянскую Бордигеру, где мы отдыхали в далеком 2013-м году. Итак, что касается моря и городских набережных, здесь всё примерно так, как в большинстве южных курортных городов, расположенных у воды. Пальмовые аллеи ведут вдоль уютных дорожек, где неспешно прогуливаются отдыхающие и редкие местные жители. Здесь есть множество кафе и небольших ресторанов, в которых в сентябре совсем немного народу. Вам не придётся долго ждать своего заказа в местном меню.

Только один раз к нам на пляже подошёл темнокожий парень, предлагая купить у него всякие безделушки, часы и сувениры. Нам он показался очень приветливым. Франко сказал, что в те годы Марокканцев и Сирийцев было довольно мало в этих местах. Зато сейчас поток мигрантов сильно увеличился. Впрочем Бордигера для них - просто перевалочный пункт. Они движутся дальше, в крупные города Италии, Франции и дальше - в Германию.

Ещё когда мы ехали из Милана в Бордигеру поездом, я обратил внимание, что часть пути мы двигались вдоль побережья Лигурийского моря. Это очень красивая дорога. Она то приближается вплотную к самому берегу, то чуть отдаляется от него. По карте я посмотрел протяжённость железнодорожного пути и узнал, что эта дорога очень длинная, она тянется вдоль всего севера Италии, а потом переходит границу и точно так же тянется уже вдоль Средиземноморского побережья Франции.

В Бордигере довольно много детских площадок. Меня удивило то, что на них почти отсутствуют дети. Франко прокомментировал этот факт тем, что в Италии бывают случаю кражи детей, поэтому дети на площадках всегда под присмотром кого-то из старших. Позже я не раз наблюдал, как стргие няни или бабушки сопровождают своих подопечных в такие места для игр. Завтра я продолжу свой рассказ о чудесном городке Бордигера. А на сегодня у меня всё!
