The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 416

I hug you strongly, dear members and visitors of the #beer community.

It is always a pleasure to return to this dynamic that invites me to search among my many memories of beers and magical moments shared with friends.

On this occasion I share with you some photographs that I treasure with infinite love and a nostalgia that hurts.

The day this snapshot was taken, we were returning from an event in which I had been awarded the Prize in a literature contest, whose name I don't remember 🫣😳.

I was accompanied by my husband, an accomplice in all my adventures, and Linnet Molina, the blonde with olive eyes and a bright smile that you see in the photo.

Some of the girls from the literary group to which I belonged were waiting for us at the Nicolás Guillén Foundation, as our monthly peña corresponded precisely that day. Luckily, neither Linnet nor I had to intervene, just enjoy.
So, on the way from the award ceremony to the Foundation, we shared several Bavaria beers, amidst laughter, which seemed to crash loudly against the walls, humorous stories and even the occasional song.

The blonde in the photo went to the other side of the sea one day in September. I walked through those same alleys many more times, but his laughter had not remained engraved on the walls of the old houses, as I have romantically heard many poets say. Don't believe them, it's not true.

When a person “becomes Catrina on the other side of the sea”, the echo is just a chimera 🥹.

Les abrazo fuertemente, queridos integrantes y visitantes de la comunidad de #cerveza.

Siempre es un placer volver a esta dinámica que me invita a buscar entre mis tantos recuerdos de cervezas y momentos mágicos compartidos con amigos.

En esta ocasión les comparto unas fotografías que atesoro con un amor infinito y una nostalgia que duele.

El día en que fue tomada esta instantánea, regresábamos de un evento en el cual me habían otorgado el Premio en un concurso de literatura, cuyo nombre no recuerdo 🫣😳.

Me acompañó mi esposo, cómplice de todas mis aventuras y Linnet Molina, la rubia de ojos aceitunados y sonrisa brillante que ven en la foto.

En la Fundación Nicolás Guillén nos esperaban algunas de las chicas del grupo literario al que pertenecía, pues correspondía nuestra peña mensual precisamente ese día. Por suerte, ni Linnet ni yo teníamos que intervenir, solo disfrutar.
Así que, en el trayecto del lugar de la premiación hasta la Fundación, fuimos compartiendo varias cervezas Bavaria, entre carcajadas, que parecían estrellarse contra las paredes de forma estruendosa, historias jocosas y hasta una que otra canción.

La rubia de la foto se marchó al otro lado del mar un día de septiembre. Yo recorrí esos mismos callejones muchas veces más, pero su carcajada no se había quedado grabada en las paredes de las casonas viejas, como románticamente he escuchado decir a muchos poetas. No les crean, no es cierto.

Cuando una persona “se vuelve Catrina al otro lado del mar”, el eco es solo una quimera 🥹.
